You don't decide who's deserving and who isn't. And Dustin KO'd Justin so he's arguably the #1 contender to the vacated title. Conor KO'd Dustin in a few minutes so it makes sense. Like I said, haters are stupid. Charles will get his shot at the winner so he's fine with it.

Conor beat Dustin 7 years ago, 3 years before his last and only win at LW, 4 years ago. And that wasn't even at LW.

Makes sense, Khabib is retired and the division needs to move on and get a champion. Dustin no doubt should be up there and his only loss in years is to Khabib, who's gone now. Conor has been absent from LW, rankings and activity wise a Olivera or Gaethje make more sense. But then again, it is Conor and he brings the X factor of his name and revenues which is just a part of the sport. And the timing is right for this fight.

It may as well be, neither of them are any worse off in the division than anyone but Charles Oliveira, and that's a fact. Both of them did better against Khabib than Gaethje - Ferguson has been owned twice in a row dominantly. Chandler has never fought in the UFC.

I'd fine with this as long as Do Bronx fights the winner without having to win another fight first.
