I’m not American, but I’ve seen parents and kids protest about those books and read out loud to the board while they ignore it in fear of funds being cut (again, that’s what it says in the american news sources I’ve seen, i am in no way related to this irl. So I cant vouch for anything)

The UFC is dead, and I don’t think it’s coming back. I took a four-year break from watching, and now the company feels completely unrecognizable. It’s all about cage stalling—basically, Jon Fitch-style tactics dominating the sport. There's no personality left in the sport, and no there are strange people like Colby, but even machida had personality without talking too much

MMA always had a bit of a "trashier" vibe, but now it's just beyond belief. MMA fans have always been known for being more conservative, but it's gotten way worse—almost like it’s become a circus now. And don’t even get me started on the Trump-era, right-wing nonsense that's crept in. I've honestly seen influencers get treated better by the company than MMA legends. It’s a sad state. How can u create a star when the company comes first?

I think we've entered a new era. Between Dana, Rogan, Trump, celebs I hate (Burt Kreischer, Kid Rock, Theo Vonn etc), fake Twitter beefs, water downed product, cost to watch going up, undeserved title shots, being associated with Power Slap, WMMA.

It feels less and less like an actual sport and more like some kind of trashbag circus.

There's still plenty of good fighters, so I'll watch, but the sport itself is turning into a bit of a farce.

I'm not sure how you'd define this new era, but something has certainly changed.

It is dead in the sense of what you used to know it is. They are the face of MMA and casuals know it as the cool thing to watch. True fans of the sport of MMA no longer matter. No matter how weak the card is assess will always be in the seats because the casuals want to be cool.

I'm one of the biggest criticizers of UFC but I will say that I enjoyed the Nelson vs Holland, Jan vs Elberg minus the BS decision, Brady vs Edwards the Sean guy is talented nice to see a real MMA fighter instead of one-dimentional strikers that UFC filled with, so although most of the card was bad at least those 3 were entertaining and showcased some skill.

I think one of the problems is that many of the people signed in UFC shouldn't be there and belong in LFA or some lower regional event, this is related to having too large of a roster as I don't believe the best are in the UFC there are a lot of mid range guys that don't belong, the fake beefs and social media crap needs to go you don't need that garbage to sell fights you need intriguing match-ups that's all.

I thought Kavanagh Vs dos Santos was the best fight on the card personally.
