What's equally laughable is that the UFC keeps negotiating these monstrous deals with empires like Fox, ESPN, Reebok etc., yet the fighter pay stays at joke levels, year after year.

    Greedy ass-hats running shit.

Who pays more? I get that it feels good to say fighters don't get paid enough, and shit on the UFC, but really, what org pays more? Where is that money going to come from? The UFC is run by investors. That means they expect to get a return on their money. They cannot and will not operate at a loss. So where do you want that money to come from?

Not sure, i mean, boxing is still around after ridiculous paydays (for a very select few), Canelo signed a huge contract with DAZN which isnt even a PPV model i believe.

I am always surprised there are people willing to shorten their lives for almost nothing... One of the worst career choices for a young man.

    It's poor.

But what I will say in their defense is they always stack their PPV's.

If you headline a PPV in Boxing there's no scenario where you'd get paid less than 7 figures. But the card is extremely top heavy.

That said though, the pay is a joke.

Crawford-Khan this weekend for example. Both making millions of dollars.

    it sad.

soccer players in germany made 0 dollars, but it changed (50s) ... the fist year you made 400 dollars (good money), 5 years later 100.000$ and 5 more years or maybe 10 years later 200.000-800.000$.

    UFC money is shit.

DAZN has billionaire owners with deep pockets paying out.

UFC is literally no different so of course they could do it.

Bob Arum just did a deal with ESPN and is forking out big money. ESPN......

Al Haymon is still doing it at PBC.
