Thats what contacting the Forrest reserve or whatever parks and recreations service manages that land.

Bottom line he didn't understand how the GPS worked and he paid for it with his life.

that's what i'm getting at. whatever information he obtained from those sources was incorrect. they had not updated the information about the spring.

evan was a very smart guy. he knew how to use all this equipment.

again, to clarify, the reason why he succumbed to the elements if due to the fact that he was planning to use a water source that no longer existed. if the information had been up to date it's very likely evan would still be with us today.

I tried to donate for the funding of that film last year and his site would lock up every time I tried to submit payment information. I tried on multiple computers with no success. I also received no response via email.

Either way, I'm interested in seeing how the film turned out. I am hopeful for its success. Evan was truly an inspiring figure before and after his unfortunate passing.

I remember having several long conversations with him on MySpace back in the day when he took a hiatus from fighting.
