The Truth Behind Evan Tanner's Death (Documentary) VIDEO

Sad video. I recommend this book or PDF to everyone. It covers just about every single thing from desert to extreme cold weather and will save your butt.

If you guys found that video good , it doesnt even hold a candle up to this one... its very cold, coroner-like and superficial compared to this masterpiece....i know many of you might have already seen this (as it is not new) but it is so worthy of a re-post especially after seeing how that newer one i just mentioned was so well received. I believe this one is way better, more informative , and it paints the correct emotional picture that was his life. It really pulls the viewer into who he truly was , a fighter with demons , a philosopher , a loner , but above all a gentle and kind human being. Before this I thought that "the smashing machine" was the best mma documentary out there , but this blows that one out of the water.

Believe in the power of one.

(sorry , I cant remember how to embed videos here , I thought it was but that didnt work...so if someone would be so kind as to remind me how to do it , then cool).

FOR THOSE WHO HAVNT WATCHED IT , GO AHEAD AND WATCH IT AND THANK ME LATER.

I remember meeting Tanner the day of the weigh in's in his last fight against Grove. He was very nice to everyone around, taking pictures, talking but I remember thinking and telling my GF at the time that he just looked so unhappy and depressed. I didn't think much of it though because he was cutting weight and getting ready for a fight.

Looking back now, knowing how he died. It's just really sad. He was always such a nice guy the hand full of times I got to meet him though. Tragic story. Thanks for sharing that video though.

Did you even watch that video? I'm pretty sure they said he bought top of the line treasure hunting stuff like metal detector, GPS, water purification, tools. Looking for treasure =/= suicidal.

Did you read my post edits or Nah? He did things that obviously doesn't scream suicide but he did things that made no sense either. Not calling for help on his cell when he was so close. Passing a town and going back the other way. Like I said in my edits I'm just confused by his actions. MAybe read the whole thing next time and not a line or two.

well before he went out people posted on his myspace saying it was dangerous. I cant remember the exact words but he responded something like this "hey guys, look im not a idiot going unprepared"

Wow that was so sad. Very well done, but I definitely almost got teary eyed a few times.

Thank you for posting this. Evan Tanner was a special individual, I was devastated when he died. I always looked up to his adventurous attitude, to take situations and test yourself in them, reveling in the pure flawed humanity of it all. RIP.

Bobby Razak is a great film maker. Hope they can get the funding they need to make the feature film happen.

I for one.. Until this point have been leaded to believe he committed suicide.. Now I know better. RIP Tanner

Huge tanner fan. I donated some money to his family after this happened.

I think sometimes there's a thin line between being a shaman type individual and madness and, often times, the line is quite muddled.

Imo, Evan was born a few hundred years too late. He was in a society that he just didn't want to conform to. Props to him for having the balls to do it his way. There are worst things than dying.

He saw Clapp Springs on the map, thought there would be water, stretched himself thin getting there, and didn't have the capacity to get out after that. RIP Evan

damn that's crazy.

i'm a baby, when i was little i never got choked up about stuff like this.
