This is so well done. Incredible editing and soundtrack so far. Very interesting stuff, I'd been following Evan throughout his entire career. Great man.

One of the saddest and most heartbreaking pieces of film i have ever seen about a truely genuine human being. Although this may sound odd but i would really like to see that final picture he took of himself right before he died.

Can't watch currently at work but he went into the desert and died.... is there more?

I wish they had shown it. I don't think it'd be a disservice to him or his family.

Poor Evan, it really hurt to hear them talk about him wandering around in circles confused and dehydrated.

There was some controversy about suicide and what actually happened. This is essentially just clearing everything up and providing all the details about his death and even some opinions on why he was out there to begin with.

It's honestly a very, very well done piece of film and should be watched by anyone who considers themselves a fan of mixed martial arts.

theres a legendary thread on here where someone actually predicted his death. I'll try to find it

Then let me be the first to predict Forrest Griffin's almost certain road down the Junior Seau road of depression.

*Hope the UFC is watching him closely.

Thank you for posting this. RIP Evan, you are missed.

He had a GPS. Why in the flying fuck didn't he save the coordinates from his camp? Even the cheapest GPS systems would allow him to click on the coordinates and the GPS would literally have an arrow that shows what direction to go. Or at the minimum, have a fucking compass.

He only brought enough water to make it to the "Spring"? I can't believe that it would never enter his head that a natural spring would be dried up during the summer.

It boggles my mind that he was so seemingly unprepared. Anyone that has ever been in the military will tell you that land navigation over rough terrain is tough enough WITH the right gear, let alone without having a clue what you're doing.

It's an unfortunate accident and accidents happen

but it is crazy that he would head deep into the desert and not have a lot of water on him, it's just scary how unprepared he was and I wish someone would have been able to talk him out of it or at least make sure he was adequately prepared to tackle the desert. But the water thing is just crazy, I don't even like leaving my house without water out here. I would never bank on a spring in the middle of the scorching desert during the summer

This, good watch. Really detailed about the events and everything

I couldn't finish the video.. The guys talking about the final picture of him, and then him wandering around in a panic.. Man that sucks. I've got the feelings of an 8 year old girl and I feel for anyone who had to endure that. Whether this was planned or truly was an accident, it's still devastating to hear what he went through.

Looks good and finally put out the real story and answer some questions. But want to see that thread above poster said about predicting his death. If so that's crazy
