All I know for certain is, there are photos of her at about 5 years age, dressed as a girl, girls clothes, girls toy and looking pretty much like a girl.

Whatever else might be true, it would seem that her family at the time certainly thought she was a girl, to think otherwise would be to suggest that a family in a notoriously conservative-muslim part of the world (her home town/village population 5000), had bought into the Woke Trans Fad, about 2 decades before it even existed, in the face of severe social disapproval at best and legal sanction at worst (you can be jailed for homosexuality in Algeria), all so that 2 decades later she would have a competitive advantage in a sport in which at that point no Algerian woman had ever competed at the Olympics. No Algerian woman actually competed in boxing at all until 2020.

I mean, that's some rare old foresight on the part of Mr Khelif, if so.

Yeah this whole male angle is nutty.

I completely understand men vs men, women vs women as a parallel to "weight divisions" in mma. You simply don't put heavyweight against welterweight... But it's not about gender.

This is why I truly don't give a fuck about sports.

Everything is about others living vicariously through some team they're never coming close to being on. Like worshipping billionaires.

The hormone argument people touch on is just another steroid argument.

"Chromosome analysis reveals male karyotype”. A karyotype refers to an individual’s complete set of chromosomes, which in Khelif’s case has been reported by the International Boxing Association (IBA) as being XY, the male pattern.

In the absence of any evidence more reliable than that (his father's testimony most certainly doesn't qualify), the evidence towards his sex clearly indicates a male baseline.

Thus, the burden of proof is on you, or in fact, Khelif, to substantiate this isn't the case. The fact he refuses to simply take a test, and resolve the issue...strongly suggests the leaked medical report is exactly what it appears to be, and is accurate.

Well, I guess I'll lend a little bit of credibility to the other guy's post claiming that we treat them as equal...

We know it. They know it. Yet they(players/media) still play dumb about the skill level between men and women, and pretend they're equal and that we "don't have any evidence" that men are physically superior to women. There are times I would like them to get rid of segregation in sports, if only for one night so we can end this absurd debate. Call them "The Games of Evidence", and let them them be a forever reminder of why we don't do that.

The evidence is that Khelif failed two separate tests (by two separate independent labs in two different countries) during the World Championships. Which subsequently leaked.

Then when the British based organization now in charge of Olympic boxing changed their standards to require gender cheek swab tests for ALL participants, Khelif refused to do the tests. Essentially ending his/her career in both any international competition and the Olympics.
