You should checkout Lindsey Graham from 1998 talking about the bar for impeachment of Clinton was lower then the bar he set for impeachment of Trump. Talk about a double standard.

To be fair, everyone learned a lesson from that. Clinton's support went up after all that bullshit. That's why you don't see Dems too eager to go down that path. It could backfire spectacularly.

If the Clinton Impeachment hearings never happened, I have no doubt the Dems would've already tried it. Way before the Mueller report came out. The Clinton incident put it all in perspective. They're not about to risk giving Trump a bump going into 2020. If he wins a second term, it might be a different story because they'll have nothing to lose.

If Mueller thought that the details as he laid them out depicted coordination between the Russians and the Trump campaign, why did he so adamantly insist that they did not coordinate together?

He pointed out that there was no direct link between trump and russia, because the campaign used an intermediary. That isn't adamantly denying anything. It is bringing up something you wish to avoid though.

You just can't for the life of you state the contents of the report accurately. You can keep insisting that we not discuss the details of the report, and focus only on the conclusion (which you cannot even state honestly), you can just stop responding.

-No he didn't. He laid out a case for obstruction, but said he would indict, regardless of what he found, due to a DOJ policy.

Any time I bring either of these counterpoints up, you retreat to, "But Mueller concluded no collusion."

You just refuse to discuss the portions of the report that are unfavorable. And when you are demanding we ignore 98% of it's contents, and focus only on the "conclusion," you make any worthwhile conversation impossible.

This interview between CNN anchor Anderson Cooper and Hogan Gidley is incredible. Gidley is in a difficult spot trying to defend what's in the report...he clearly lies in saying if they had the goods they would have indicted Trump, repeatedly of course ignoring, despite Cooper pointing it out, that indictment of a sitting president can't happen under the current DOJ regulations (for any crime). Ok, whatever, typical Trumper lying.

The real doozy of a lie everyone on either side will enjoy is the "I've never heard the president lie" statement. These guys are just on another level of wild shit. That's ballsy as fuck to think someone is gonna buy that one, even his most ardent idiot base supporter can't buy that...I think?
