but what's the explanation of Jones looking slow? wasn't he a lot lighter in this fight? he moved like an old man himself.
Lighter than his last fight but he was still nearly 240lbs.

I thought the reason he looked slow was because he WAS slow. The reason he looked slow is because he is old.
You’re welcome.
Lol thats fair.I thought the reason he looked slow was because he WAS slow.
And the reason he WAS slow is because he's old.
But this is splitting hairs.

Allegedly around 2 plus ppv points so quite possibly yes. Either way, he made a few million to get off the couch and show up for Jon to make a name off of him. Easy moneydid he really get 5 mil?
Maybe he pulled a Forrest and xanned it up the night before
The beating he took in the first round was a huge factor as well as the body attacks. I’m not gonna say his age wasn’t a factor because he is 42. He’s not in his prime anymore. However the weight was also a factor. 15 pounds heavier than probably his last good performance against DC 3.. He came too heavy for Jones trying to be strong.Everyone forgets Jones beat the living snot out of him in the first round, aint no way you dont look like a lesser version of yourself after that hiding.
Stipe was in great shape, looked focused and on point. Got flipped like an egg and elbowed to Bolivia.
Stipe wasnt a zombie due to age, he was a zombie cause Jones beat his ass badly in round one.
It was like one minute into the round when Jones took him down and beat the shit out of him. I’m not saying the age wasn’t a factor, but Jones absolutely worked his ass over bad in that first round.Oh yeah thats true, if you forget that he also looked slow in the first round before that happened.
Also came in too heavy. Should have been like 233 like with DC 2 and 3.The reason he looked slow is because he is old.
You’re welcome.
He was as fast as he needed to be to deal with his opponent. He got hit like three times the whole fight and dominated every minute of it.but what's the explanation of Jones looking slow? wasn't he a lot lighter in this fight? he moved like an old man himself.

I’ll play nice. Obviously he’s not going to be as fast as he was at light heavyweight. A lot heavier and also he’s older. But I don’t recall Jones ever being renowned for his speed to begin with. His technique, his versatility, his cage IQ absolutely. But not his speed. Jones didn’t destroy opponents in his career because he was so much faster than them.and that's not what i was asking, but thanks for your unique insight on the fight, it's really high level analysis.
Stipe's walkout looked like he was prepped for a zombie parade.Everyone forgets Jones beat the living snot out of him in the first round, aint no way you dont look like a lesser version of yourself after that hiding.

He looked old from the jump, because he is old.Everyone forgets Jones beat the living snot out of him in the first round, aint no way you dont look like a lesser version of yourself after that hiding.
