I saw avocado oil at Costco a while back, I had already bought some coconut oil, so I didn't need it. It was also very expensive. Is it worth the price?
Some good eating today. Breakfast was Scrambled Eggs. Lunch was Caesar Salad and dinner was Black Pepper Steak.![]()
One of the side effects of lifting heavier weight more often is that I'm fucking starving all the time.
Sounds like some good snackin'
I used to work at Costco, in the produce department specifically. The prices were actually higher than the surrounding super markets, and some of the practices were kind of nasty. Like, one day a guy picked up a couple palates of cranberries, and one tipped over. We were instructed to pick up all of them off the floor and put them back in the containers. A few times we were asked to go through the grapes and cherries and remove moldy ones and moldy areas, then put the packages back out. That's not too bad, but the main thing was that the produce was consistently more expensive than everywhere else.
That's gross.
Know how grocery stores offer packages of cut mushrooms, or fruit? There's a good chance those are old mushrooms, or fruit with bad spots, that wouldn't sell whole.
You guys don't have farmer's markets??
Do you get winter in the Carolina's? We have the markets for about 3 months.
