The Pub - Belph's Battle with Anorexia

I'd speak up. "My parents weren't born here. I might look and sound USAmerican, but actually, I'm from *country that you look like you could be from*. So, you got something against us?"

See what his reaction is. Possibly video record for lulz.

Kid lives in Finland, Kiwi. Otherwise it's a solid plan, although his employers might not see the funny side.

I dealt with a man who identified himself as a "real Canadian" who was offended by all the "non-Canadian" folks working at our establishment.

I quipped that no one was truly a real Canadian, as his family would have immigrated here within the last few hundred years. He did not appreciate that.

I was going to make a comment about being 1/16 "real Canadian" by being a small part aboriginal, but then I remembered that Cherokee is American Indian, and that part of my family was from Tennessee.

So I guess no one is a real Canadian. No one at all.

Good morning from the sunny south of England. I have had some mackeral on toast and a couple of cups of coffee for breakfast, and am ready for a nice day. Taking my boys to the woods for a picnic / play / feed the ducks and then pick up some meat for a bbq tomorrow. Have a good weekend all.

Good man. It takes some balls to say something like that but I think more people need to say stuff like that.

There's only real Americans

(apparently I'm only capable of one serious reply at a time)

That sounds like a great weekend.

I don't know about mackerel on toast, but I've been enjoying kippers with my eggs. In fact, I've been enjoying fish a lot more lately. There's been a couple lazy mornings were I took a bit of extra time to grill salmon steaks for breakfast.

So I started my job at the library and there's this one guy who comes in and just says "hi" walking in. BUT when he leaves he turns around just at the door to give a lecture about what is wrong with our country, our city, our small town and the people in it. He calls immigrants parasites and criminal (just in general) and brags about how he calls the cops on the romanian people who are just living their lives. He brags about doing martial arts (big surprise) and how he has friends in the police. He says that if the immigrants and criminals don't leave the country or go to jail then he will have to "get rid of the cancer himself".

He says all these things to me and I'm just sitting there looking at him and nodding. It's not like he is hurting anyone saying these things to me but still. And it's not that he acts and says those things just out of spite. He actually is like that and he believes in what he preaches.

But still it irks me up so bad sometimes. And he comes around everyday and sometimes twice a day :D.

And the same to you, sir. Enjoy your weekend.

I'm on holiday after today, and I'm looking forward to two weeks of lazy mornings.

Lol, he actually is like that!

My mom said he has been like that for years. He brags about the places he's been, the people he's met and the things he's done. So I really do believe that if he would do something he would've done it a long time ago.

It's those damn dirt bike kids that's the real problem. Those damn kids with their dirt bikes. Damn kids.

Well, I got an 55kg pull up today so I got that going on for me which is nice.

Congratulations. Did you film it?

Edit, I just saw it in the Team Log. Well done.

Any of you guys eat cottage cheese?

Sprinkle a little bit of that cinnamon on it, it's really nice. I've been eating bland ass cottage cheese for ages now and then BOOM! Cinnamon, sliced up banana or any other fruit and you've got yourself a pretty decent snack.

Cottage cheese has the consistency of elephant shit.
