The Pub - Belph's Battle with Anorexia

Good morning from the sunny south of England. I have had some mackeral on toast and a couple of cups of coffee for breakfast, and am ready for a nice day. Taking my boys to the woods for a picnic / play / feed the ducks and then pick up some meat for a bbq tomorrow. Have a good weekend all.

Different brands of cottage cheese have different consistencies. I like mine with some veggies mixed in, with salt, pepper and maybe some olive oil.
 
Getting a safety squat bar on monday for only 100 bucks. Pretty amped up about it.

I have a huge, throbbing Man Crush on the SS Bar. When my Gym finally bought one, it was an early Christmas present.

I used to Squat three times a week, and two of those sessions were with an SS Bar. It's only with extreme reluctance that wear and tear on my knees has forced me to drop one of the SS Bar Squat sessions.:(

The SS Bar is also great for doing GM's.
 
I don't really use it, but the SS bar my gym has is set-up so that depending on how the bar is orientated it's loaded more like a back squat or front squat. It's a simple thing, but seems like a good feature.
 
There is some kind of motorcycle rally in my town this weekend. If I never hear another Harley I will be happy.

It's a cool option to have, but I wouldn't use it even if it were available. I like the way my SS Bar puts the load forward, forcing me to compensate. Wendler compared it to doing a Front Squat but with the added bonus of not having to worry about dropping the Bar forward.
 
So I turn on the TV to watch something while I eat my dinner. I don't even change the channel and it's a news story about somebody doing crossfit at my gym who got Rhabdo from GHR sit-ups. Nobody I know though.

It probably says something about how my mind is wired that, less than five minutes after waking up and realizing I had injured my back, I was trying to figure out a way to Lift tomorrow without making it worse.:redface:

It might be a video from some reviewing people who played the shit out of it for a long time to test it. So chances are that a guy who plays 10 hours a day might experience more glitches than someone who plays 2 hours a day.
