Law THE POLICE SHOOTING/USE OF FORCE MEGATHREAD: discussions to determine if justified or not

Alivia Schwab is the lady that got killed for your googling purposes.

Wow. What more could he have done? He told his partner to go less lethal and she thought he said go over there and do nothing. He gave up about as much ground as he could, there were no cars to seek cover behind, and then she started running. It really sucks that his partner did absolutely nothing and now that other cop had to kill that woman who was committing suicide by cop.

She won’t get fired. She will get sent for retraining. My guess is that she was quiet and afraid to draw attention to herself from the knife wielding lady. But her inactions led to an officer having to take a life.

No You didn't. At best you were a lazy ass pos bragging about writing fictional stories on Sherdog while on the Governments time. Does not reconcile with "Honorable." Try again.

Lazy? Nah, not even in the end. In my early years, I was aggressive and made a lot of arrests-always in the top five for number, but number 1 when it came to number of felonies. Then I became a supervisor and my numbers dropped really low. And I rarely wrote at work. Working midnight shifts, before they hired civilians to work the front desk, I was often put on the desk and I wrote some of my stories there. And again, I really don’t care if you say it’s fiction or whether you think I was a cop or not.

You and your partner, heeto, have let this get way too personal. Your hatred for me is amusing

I know there aren't enough bodies for the job mostly, but that lady should be fired or at least taken off the streets. Sure that's probably the only time in her career she will face a situation like that, but she showed she is a liability in a critical situation.

So now you are disowning your own words huh?

Ok. I got five stories out yesterday on tax payer dollar. Going fo five mo today. I got coffee and nos, so I should be good for a while.

I agree. I would want to look at the rest of her career to see if there are other red flags. She had every single advantage. That woman ignored her. She could have ran up and tackled her used the taser, pepper spray, anything-but she froze. Cops are desperate for bodies, which is why it is sometimes hard to get rid of the shitty ones (unions aside) for good. One department will fire them and someone else will pick them up because of a shortage of applicants. But I bet they ask her in the debriefing why she didn’t act and then send her for retraining.

How many L's you want? The X-Mas Tree and lights are up already. I got a little time, but I also don't want you to feel cyber bullied out of your own thread.

Did I just not say I wrote on midnights from the front desk? We had a new chief come in and he wanted a senior sergeant on the front desk-that was usually me. You sit there, answer the phones, do warrant checks when officers call for them, handle walk-in complaints and dispatch a cruiser to come I to hq and speak to them. You watch the few cameras we had up. But mostly, people watched the television all night long. I wrote

Did you give up coffee and nos? Seems like a bad combo

Are you referring to picking another case? Go for it.

i missed that. @nhbbear said he gave his life? what a slap in the face to officers who actually DID give their lives. I never doubted he actually was a cop, but for him to say that leaves me doubting it because that is seriously disrespectful to all the deceased cops. He got a bad back or whatever and somehow he thinks that is the same. what a pos

I'll wait for you to write up a long ass response to post #411 since the dog ate your homework. Leave Jimmy, Billy Bob, and the Old Chief that throws away complaints out of it. Keep it to ECPD policy and California Code.......expert

I'm the visitor, and I aint granting no do-overs.

Well, it’s 0115 hrs at the moment, so my ass is going to bed. I will take another run at that response tomorrow and in the mean time, pick a case you want to discuss

Cops can only use deadly force to defend Human Life

The department dispatched 2 Officers to the scene. Others were on the way iirc. But this turned out to be a situation that developed rapidly on 1st contact with the woman. She wasn't passively resistant to this initial contact by walking away. She was rapidly closing distance with a bladed weapon.
Female cop obviously used to coasting as a diversity hire and letting the men do the dirty work. She placed higher on the rank list due to her genitalia and that's insanity.

I don't see race, religion, or genitals. I see two uniformed officers. 1 competent, 1 less than.

Ok poon, give me some details and I can look it up. Name?

Work have a WIFI filter to keep the honest, hard working, honorable staff, off of YT while they perform the duties they are actually being paid for?

reading back over some of those are very crass and cavalier when it came to dealing with some death and murder scenes, and while I have a good dose of dark humor, I pumped it up because of the shark tank that was the old OT.

I really don’t care if you say it’s fiction

You said it's fiction also.
