No. The film was set in the Song dynasty. Europeans didn’t even know of the existence of the wall until the Qing dynasty. It is perfectly plausible that white people were in it.

Minus for all the Euros the Mongols brought in to work for them because they distrusted ethnic Chinese.No. The film was set in the Song dynasty. Europeans didn’t even know of the existence of the wall until the Qing dynasty.

Oh I know, I was being sarcastic lol. I was banned on IGN when I was calling out the African American casting in Overlord, saying that black soldiers would be infantrymen and wouldn't be involved in an important operation. Next thing I know, I'm banned. It's okay to criticize, even the wrong helmet type can pull you from the fantasy, and this is much more blatant.
Or pilots or there was a tank division.Oh I know, I was being sarcastic lol. I was banned on IGN when I was calling out the African American casting in Overlord, saying that black soldiers would be infantrymen and wouldn't be involved in an important operation. Next thing I know, I'm banned.
It is sad. The uniforms should be colorful at least at the beginning of the journey. Odysseus' family have no business dressing like bums either, he's king of Ithaka, not some homeless nobody.Whats with the boring color palette? This always pisses me off when filmmakers dull everything down to seem "grounded and real" but it's just miserable to look at, not to mention it's the fucking Mediterranean. With that little rant out of the way it doesn't look like anything special from a first glance but Nolan's films have never grabbed me like other people.
I am unfamiliar with Henry V but just looking at images it looks 100s of times more visually interesting than stuff like The King. Greece is beautiful and having the blues of the sea and sky contrasting with the whites, oranges, and greens of the land would make a much better viewing experience than watching a whole lotta dreary grey and black. So they made knights and Greece boring to look at, I think all thats left at this point is foreign films. It is sad. The uniforms should be colorful at least at the beginning of the journey. But it's the worst with medieval movies like The King and The Last Duel. They literally look like shit, everything is dirty, bland and discoloured. Visit the Tower of London or any big museum with a medieval exhibit, and see the armour and liveries for a change, they are majestic!
Baffling how Lawrence Olivier did a much better job at depicting knights and warriors in a 1944 movie about Henry V than any modern movie.
Some parts of Greece can get a bit bleak and monochrome in the middle of summer when vegetation gets yellow from lack of water. But the warriors should look splendid, not dirty.I am unfamiliar with Henry V but just looking at images it looks 100s of times more visually interesting than stuff like The King. But Asian characters were not in the novel. Not that I remember anyway.Troy is literally in Asia
you know people occupy the world of a novel who never get mentioned by name or direct individual descriptions, right? or do you just imagine empty worlds surrounding the characters? But Asian characters were not in the novel. Not that I remember anyway.

It's how I was able to get through Fellowship of the Ring as a kid. I was lost when Tom Bombadil was introduced.that’s wild bruh
Some people cannot grasp the idea that Asia is the biggest continent on earth and is home to many different ethnicities, depending on what part of Asia we 're talking about. By his logic Jesus may have been a Mongol, and Herod a Japanese guy, since Israel, Japan and Mongolia are all in Asia. But Asian characters were not in the novel. Not that I remember anyway.
imagine having a meltdown over an extra who likely has zero lines of dialogue & 40 seconds of screen timeSome people cannot grasp the idea that Asia is the biggest continent on earth and is home to many different ethnicities, depending on what part of Asia we 're talking about. Having a Korean - looking guy in an ancient Greek army is preposterous and is nothing but the result of modern woke casting.
The beginning of the journey is the end of the long siege. It is sad. The uniforms should be colorful at least at the beginning of the journey. Odysseus' family have no business dressing like bums either, he's king of Ithaka, not some homeless nobody.
