Think I have either damaged a rib, or perhaps an intercostal muscle - really quite uncomfortable and hurts when I breathe. Skipped Judo yesterday and will just monitor it for a while...hopefully it's the muscle and not the bone.

Just went for a walk today - 1hr 20mins.

Do you know the exact moment? Not a pop or a bad land?
Thanks mate, fortunately, it seems to be improving already, so I think it may just be muscular or bruising. I don't remember a precise moment when it started hurting. Going to rest up a bit more and not rush back in to anything just yet.
 
How's the rib feeling?
Funny you should ask (thank you by the way!) - I ended up in hospital for 10 hours yesterday as the pain had returned with a vengeance and became unbearable - I thought I may have had kidney stones. Anyway, went for loads of scans etc and turns out I have pneumonia and that is what is causing the pain - so I was way off!

On antibiotics now, and will force myself to rest for a bit longer now until I shake it off. Sucks, but what can you do?
