Metal/Rock/Industrial The metal thread \m/

doesn't even sound like the same band. Like i said one good album very overrated career.
No you just are going by what's popular, like a fuckin POSER, and not judging the musical quality.

I used to like that stuff when i was 15 then i grew up!
I saw them a few times. The first time Seth had a stroke and was paralyzed on one side. He was sitting in a chair the whole gig but then he fell over and no one picked him up til the end of the gig..he just lay there..

It was sad as fuck to see but also amazing they put themselves through that

I am getting up there in age so maybe there is hope for me yet! I'm sorry I don't like stuff that sounds like it was recorded on one of these while it is being thrown down 20 flights of stairs.

That's the best shit!

Slowly getting into metal sub-genres.

Between nu, prog, industrial, alt and thrash metal.

Ghost has that crossover appeal and tons metal fans like them that's why they're here. Their first few albums are metal and if they're not then Black Sabbath isn't metal either because that is were they pull a lot of their influence from. Mind you they have definitely got more pop rock sounding on the last two records but these new singles at least have the crunchy guitars back that were missing from those 2 albums. imho I am hopeful this one will be good.
They had some metal elements in their rock esp on the first two albums but they def leaned hard into the pop sound since.

Slayer dead skin mask intro turns into death black metal

The beggining of their first album totally reminds me of the hell awaits opening build up.

I know I said that already.

Stop being scared of strong dominant woman.

Dark Angel > Death Angel, but the new Dark Angel really sucks unfortunately.

Thrash bands that have been going since the 80s mostly keep on putting out the same sounding plastic uninspired shit thesedays
Not even close. Dark Angel is cool, but messy as fuck. Death Angel's catalogue destroys Dark Angels, and they are way better live. I've seen both.
