Got to say, I was impressed by Bill Burr's acting in this latest episode.

When he was talking about "Operation Cinder" and just before he killed that Imperial officer, you could see the inner turmoil on his face. Subtle portrayal of PTSD.

Who knew Bill Burr was capable of that? Definitely more than just a stand up comedian.
Burr should do more acting for certain. Hes not s lead but he would be a great supporting guy for many roles

I'm all for Gina, and I'd lick her butthole no matter how chonky she got.... But she's a shit actress. Star Wars has never been known for its amazing dialogue though.
Random bounty hunter: "I can bring you in hot, or can bring you in cold."

Mando: "That's my line." pew pew pew boom!

You literally give the reason she doesn’t need to act any more than a scowling look and a few grunts whilst she lays the smack down. Same as Sasha Bank’s role. A supporting female role with action chops. I love Ming Na Wen, but hell even her dialogue falls flat.
That's because she's mastered the angry PMS woman facial expression.

gina was looking good that episode.
bb was good, glad to see him back.
when they mentioned pirates, first thought that popped in my head was "hondo??". he'd make a good ally for mando.
The pirate famous for double crossing his allies? Mando or Boba would vaporize him.

Ha! Who would you cast as Hondo though? GSP?

They should cast GSP as some guy who stumbles upon a Sith lightsaber and instantly masters it and kicks everyone square in the ass. He's the type who has the right amount of OCD to become good at whatever he does.

Also, who'da guessed we'd see Mando teaming up with freaking Boba Fett in the Slave I? Two badasses where the original only now gets to showcase his badassery. Can't wait for Season 3 and Boba's show.

Hah I couldn't agree more. I almost can't believe it. After the prequels and sequels, (which I know some people enjoyed but I mostly did not) I never thought I would feel this excited about Star Wars again.

@Myrddin Wild is the Slave 2 still around? Maybe Boba gives Mando that ship.
My prediction is that they recruit Bo Katan and rescue Grogu and get the dark saber in the finale. Then the set up for next season is a Jedi arriving.

A Slave II exists? Where'd you see that? (EDIT: Nevermind. Saw Slave II, III, 4 and those are ugly too.)

Did Kid Boba use the Slave I in Clone Wars cartoon? I forget.

Bringing Bo-Katan back for season finale seems appropriate especially since Mando knows she wants the darksaber, maybe? Mando's never seen it, I think and Bo didn't specifically mention it by name.

I hope Mando gets his own new ship. Slave 1 is badass but I think I'd prefer it stay with Boba

The only chasm is you not understanding that the attack they were involved in is obviously not a regular thing. How is it you don't see that? There are so many things that point to this being an isolated incident. Re-read my original post about that. I named at least a half dozen or more things that point to that. The first people to be attacked didn't know what was going on. That thing about transporting the stuff was just a side thought.
You do remember theyre mining fuel. thats like complaing in the middle of oil field in Iraq about your cars mpgs or price of petrol. Never mind that they can cross divides between galaxies which take HUGE amount of energy. But some local planetside transport where, taking in reference the efficiency of their galaxy hopping tech, that youre sayin would be expensive?

Yeah, Boba used a a few ships. 4 I think. Slave 2 is a pretty cool ship. Not as iconic as the Slave 1, but it’s a tough, capable ship.

Don't forget, "flying" is so expensive as to not be realistic. I mean, only a moisture farmer on a super wealthy planet like Tatooine could afford something as rare, expensive, and uber sophisticated, as a repulsorlift landspeeder.

Only a truly wealthy slave podracer, or successful crime lords ike Jabbam could afford repulsorlift vehicles.

[or to be the "train" engine to pull many smaller "cars"]

And technologically advanced races like the Verpine

used them to move huge asteroids around.

There's just no way the Empire could afford it!

Besides, they probably weren't even aware of the technology! I mean, it's not like they used repulsorcraft at other bases.... oh wait.... the Moff Gideon led Imperial base on Nevarro had some, like the Trexler Marauder that Carl and Gina used to escape just a few episodes ago....

And even IF they could afford them, they require years of training to even operate!

But yeah, nothing to see here! No plot holes and certainly it's NOT OK for anyone to question ANYTHING!

[I'll just add my opinion that Gina is an absolute SHIT actress. Like slightly above middle schooler level - think mediocre high school level - "actress".]

<{cum@me}>

Maybe these monster trucks are all they had left. The empire is in a bit of a rough state at this point, there’s no real reason they can’t have a wheeled setup if they feel like it right?

Wait a minute

You have 79 posts since 2009 and this is one of them!

I was gonna argue but now that I have noticed your join date vs post count I also feel they should have used floaty stuff

Carry on

Just watched it. What a fantastic fuckin episode. Solid action adventure. Prince Oberyn finally gets to use his mug. Ol’ Billy Storm Troopah crushed it, especially in his big scene. Jumbo Gina still out there lookin like a dish. Or maybe a whole buffet spread. For not having The Child, this episode was pretty dang great.

He's trawlin. The original trilogy has vehicles that don't hover. If Walkers get a pass so does the thing in the latest episode IMO
