I did the Saint Venus thing in NYC once a couple of years ago.... dropped $300 in an hour on 2 drinks and one lap dance (maybe it was 2) with tips... my only NYC strip club experience. But they were the hottest strippers I ever saw in my entire life.

all the best strip clubs have supposedly been narrowed down to (or monopolized) taking occupancy over here in Queens. it's super weird. I knew a gang member who was involved in one & wanted me to be their resident "DJ". I just used to make mixes for fun because I had access to all the 0day brand new songs coming out being that I was an admin on super popular a dc++ hub in during & after the millennium. he/they told me all I'd have to do is just play CDs, sit in a booth & act like a DJ. that they made it secure so no one would notice.

but yeah, me neither. not into the strip club scene especially. a lot of my friends are, & they're into rub 'n tug joints/ massage parlors & all that. too lowbrow/creepy IMO, at least the way they go at it.

My old one is already paid off.

Goal now is paying down other debt and trying to get a really nice apartment or if I'm lucky a townhouse or condo later this year or early next.

Realistically I won't need to replace my truck for at least another 5 years most likely as long as I routinely get it's oil change and don't beat the fuck out of it. If someone were to GIFT me like a brand new Raptor, especially the rumored V8 with the same engine dropped in the Shelby GT that is dual turbo'd I wouldn't say no though lol.

Here's something a lot less awesome.

In high school, one year the band was asked to play Stairway to Heaven for the graduation ceremony. A high school band.

Our first chair trumpet said "screw that", because it was as lame as it sounds and she wanted to continue to have a social life.

The conductor asked me to play it because I could play any of the brass instruments (I was first chair french horn) and there was a huge trumpet solo, and I said yes.

Even if this doesn't sound incredibly lame on it's face, understand that the trumpet player was pretty hot, I'd had designs on her for months and actually had a shot, and playing the solo reduced that shot to a zero percent chance of success.

I live with that regret to this day.

Solo was fun, though, even if it was lame.
