It's been long enough since I've seen him fight that I don't recall how much he actually got hit, but sure Mighty Mouse is in the running? I'm seeing strike differentials of 64-13, 108-16, 21-6, 27-6, 133-36...not to mention some takedown differentials of 14-1 and 12-1.

I don't get the Jon references. He isn't really defensive. Unless you're doing a weird 'he fights from the outside' angle I guess?

Jones isn't a "defensive fighter," but his defense is remarkable. We've seen him get hit cleanly in the face, what, once from Machida, a couple of times from Gus, and that one illegal upkick from Vera? And that's in 15 years of fighting nothing but top competition.

I hear ya. I just wouldn’t call him defensive. Same goes for Islam… absurdly good defense but I wouldn’t label him defensive.
