The Future for Nate Marquardt

Thinking he probably gets cut, but I'd love to see him get another fight against someone who doesn't have ridiculous power(Ellenberger, Lombard).

I might get hate for this, but I think he should get back on TRT. He's up there in age, especially considering how long of a career he's had, and so long as he doesn't make up some BS excuse like I haven't gone through puberty or something, I'm fine with him taking it.

That's what pisses me off about these TRT guys. They make these thinly veiled excuses instead of just embracing it and being like if it helps me fight at the highest level, fuck it.

Getting back on track, Nate needs something to rejuvenate his career so might as well.

Before I clicked on this thread, I didn't really want Nate to fight any more. Too many years of dedicated service and even more training are starting to really show.

Then I hear someone throw out Erik Silva / Marquardt or a Kampmann rematch, and I begin to think he has a few more fight in him... If he has a compulsion to continue, I would love to see these matches.

Shlemenko vs Marquardt would be pretty sick. Maybe even throw him in there with Mamed Khalidov if he gets a win or two somewhere else.

Nate can get KO'd in both these fights but in terms of just power, I don't think either guys have as much as Lombard or Ellenberger

Time to retire IMO.. He is just going to get hurt when fighting the elite and can now only fight cans to make money. He should start transitioning to the next phase of his life..

Nate V Kampmann is a great fight too. That's a pick em fight, with the slight edge going to Kampann imo, unless he tries a heavy wrestling strategy like he did against Condit...

Kampamnn is inconsistent so we can never be sure but I think he destroys Nate. Especially on a good day, like when he KOed Ellenburger

big fan of him personally, but i feel the UFC's WW division isn't the place for him really want to see him return to MW and rack up some wins elsewhere and maybe come back with 3-5 consectuive wins behind him
