The fight that defined GSP

It means little to nothing that you double down on your opinion. No one takes that right as it landed. Plenty or most take a jab or a hammerfist from the bottom.

I don't buy that you consider it more embarrassing than a ko from a hammerfist from the bottom. You're just being difficult now. Fess up.
I feel like I'm in bizarro world. I'm pissing alot of people off( off trivial nonsense) ....AND LOVING IT.

Right in my wheelhouse.

hmmm...sure...

Puh-lease...

This is what I call a legit (right or wrong, at least tryin´) technical assessment:

Now, this... is representative of the No Rush fanbase: pure crap, unable to drop any technical shit about skill sets, technical sequences or contexts.
You have the audacity to call this shit a technical assessmentt? Really?

A pure mix of "lols", memes repeated ad nauseam, and z-e-r-o substance. Nuthin´. Garbage.
95% of that No Rush fanbase brings nuthin´to this place.

What 2 do? What 2 say? It iz what it iz.

Your gif doesnt show anything. Not sure what you're smoking.

Lol- on the scale of the whole big picture, what does that mean ?
MMA math = mma fans are dummies.

Really , what are u trying to say ?

Serra ,literally , made gsp look like a deer in headlights . Gsp tapped to Matt Serra.
So what does that mean ?

Silva tapped to a flying sub against a FW sized fighter.

Franklin you are making a lot of sense. The problem is that there is this zero tolerance policy from the history altering gsp illuminati. I swear I feel like Im in a bizzaro world too dude, no one will answer any of my questions without insults and emotion, aside from anotheroldguy. I appreciated his polite response in the good spirit of polite discourse.

Well at least you admit that you're trolling. That's the first step.

Right- was does that mean ( in the big picture of things) ?
You cant even digest obvious points I'm saying ( you're taking it the other way- dude , get some rest.)

All great fighters lose.

Andersons loss to Ryo was terrible, but it was not as bad as getting KO'd by a fighter in a weight class below you in a title fight.

Losing to Matt Hughes with 1 second left in the very first round by submission is not a horrible loss. Its friggin matt hughes an all time legend, however when he finally beat him those wins do not count towards gsp as much as that first loss counts against him because both Matt and Gsp were both in their primes. When he finally beat Hughes, Matt was way past prime and clsoing in on 40.

A lot of dissecting these resumes is about context.

I've never NEVER shit on gsp . In reference to him being thee goat - thee one , I've disagreed and offered my OPINIONS on why- complacency and smotherfests in reference to HIM NOT BEING THEE GOAT is not shitting on him.

Dude - this is just ...just getting silly.

And again no answer to the question.

It's obvious why you won't answer the question, because you know if you answered it honestly that it would fly in the face of your narrative that Shields was able to have a competitive fight on the feet with GSP.

And/or you're just too stupid to comprehend the question. I'm past the point of thinking that you're just playing stupid now, and have firmly reached a conclusion on the matter.

Good day sir.

I did answer it. You didnt like my answer.

Who's on 1st ?
Who's on 3rd ?
That was a ground rule double so the guy on 1st goes to 3rd .

Just turning 33 a month before losing to GSP, is closing in on 40? Maths is hard.

Hmmmmmm ??????
You're arguing with me about an embarrassing ko and I'm trolling ?

Like I said- love it.

I got room for all u mofos.

It's all good fella. We're all bored to shit. No shame in good trolling. Takes all kinds.

My grandmother always said never to argue with a moron. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Bravo sir, I fell into the trap. You win.

At some point Id like to hear the case why Georges' resume is better than Bones, Anderson and Fedors without the ped nonsense argument. Just lay the resumes on the line and show me why georges' pedestrian win list is better than all of the all time greats and former champs that fill the 3 goats' resumes.

I like that - damn .... wish I couldve used it on u..

Any fighter with a background in stand up, GSP would take to the ground, he was a very strategic fighter that would always attack the weakest part of his opponents game. I don't knock him for it, he had a very good fight IQ after the Serra first fight and left his EGO at the door of the cage.

I found gsp fights boring because
No correlation what so ever.

GSP battered Koscheck with his boxing and changed his face forever.

Shields poked GSP in the eye numerous times and still got outstruck and also rocked by GSP who had one functioning eye.

Saying “supposedly” in regards to the eye pokes is telling.

Not sure whether you are trolling or just plain stupid at this point
great points

GSP thought he was a solid striker, he also thought Matt Serra was a big can and decided he will play around for a round, to test his striking skills. He didn't go for a single take down, he thought this fight is too easy and a good opportunity to test his striking skills, maybe get a nice KO highlight.

He never fought on his feet again. This was the last time he played the striker. In the rematch he would take Serra down in the first 2 seconds and repeatedly take him down when Serra stood up.
This was the fight that turned GSP into the ufc wrestling control freak and according to many the most boring ufc champ to this day with 0 finishes.

False. The second Koscheck fight was after this which was a striking clinic by GSP. He also kept standing in the Shields fight and stood with Ping a good amount of the fight
