"The last guy I fought, Josh Thomson, he was scared shitless when I was fighting him. It's unbelievable how scared he was in there. He was running for his life. He was making women when I was fighting him. He was making bitch ass lady sounds and that's not bulls--t. I'm not here talking s--t on him, this is reality. He was making woman sounds. He was running out of the clinch. I hit him in the face and he was going "Oh, oh, ehh" making woman sounds I've never even heard out of a man before during a fight. I'm hearing his corner telling him to smile and I'm like, "Yeah, smile mother f--ker" and not a single smile came out of his mouth. He had a look of panic the whole fight. You have to be in there to fight these guys to know that. This is how it went. I've seen him in other fights, he was smiling at the other guy, bouncing around. He didn't have no time for that against me. He was frantic and trying not to get his ass whooped."

Did all of that happen before or after he head kick KO'ed Diaz and pounded him out for an easy finish?

Nick Diaz, 7-7 in his UFC career. 1-3 since his return from the minor leagues.

Lost EVERY ROUND to an over-the-hill, returning-from-the-worst-injury-I've-ever-seen-in-the cage, rusty A. Silva. Fought to survive, not win. If he fought his normal style he would have gone to sleep. He knew it, his fans know it.

Lost EVERY ROUND to GSP. Was broken after a couple of rounds of takedowns where he knew he had no answer. Basically quit and turtled-up, with no attempt to fight. Lost ON THE FEET between the takedowns.

Lost 4/5 rounds to Carlos Condit, mainly due to his horrible footwork. He couldn't cut off a gimp in a phone booth.

Managed to beat an over-the-hill, out-of-shape, smaller BJ Penn. Frankie, a fighter who could make Bantamweight, made BJ look just as bad, or worse. BJ was in a 1-5-1 skid toward retirement when Diaz beat him, yet BJ boxed him up in the first round until "BJ gonna BJ" and gassed out in the 2nd.

When he got in the ring with good fighter for their time (Karo, Diego, Riggs, Sherk) he got beat, even if they were smaller fighters.

So what are his signature Elite/Strikeforce wins?

Daley? A 2-1 UFC fighter who took an early stoppage of Kampmann and beat Hazlett (5-5 UFC) before getting smoked by KOS? Beating those two does not make one a Top 10 WW.

Frank Shamrock? A guy who retired 9 years before fighting Nick, was a shill for Strikeforce, and went into the cage with a broken rib and no real intent to win. He was fodder to make it seem Nick was legit in an attempt to pump up the failing promotion. He took the first opportunity to get out of there.

KJ? A middling lightweight who boxed Nick up? Watch those fights. It looks like Nick is in the cage with a little kid. The size difference is huge. Yet somehow that little kid kept landing shots. He just wasn't big enough to drop the much bigger fighter.

Cyborg? Zaromskis? Smith? Denney? Corbbrey?

Hell, Mike Aina beat him and was robbed.

His idiot brother Nate is 8-8 in his most recent UFC fights against upscale competition.

Shertards mistake mean mugging, dope smoking, and trash talk for greatness.

You're beating a dead horse. I'm a fan of the Diaz Bros but their fans make me want them to lose. It's a weird feeling. Even after you posted all of these facts, Diaz fans will come up with crazy excuses like "they put too much water on the other guy, or steroids, or if it was a 5 rounder, or they fought like a bitch."

In their minds, Nick and Nate are the best fighters in the world even though they lose and lose bad.

This is very easy to understand. If you are really dumb, failed in school, can barely read, write, or speak correct English, smoke a lot of weed, and are basically the dregs of society, it is very important to your psyche to have a role model who looks like you who "succeeds".

His "success" tells you that your path isn't absolutely a dead end, like "The Man" always said.

"What do you mean I'm too stupid and stoned to be employable? Look at Nick, MFer! 209, Wut!"

He went a competitive 5 rounds with a much larger juiced Silva who couldn't put him in any danger of being finished.
Unsure if you're trolling or just stupid.

Competitive? He got soundly outstruck in every single round by a guy who is known not to be an initiator. The last time someone fought like Diaz did against Silva, we ragged on Anderson for months and months because his fight with Thales Leites was shit.

I'm all of the above and my hero is Dana White.

Nick fought like a points fighter that night and still lost lol... The irony

Exactly. DFW is a moron who got lucky. He fits the same description as the rest of the Diaz fanboys: an uneducated, dope-smoking loudmouth. He loves the Diaz antics and the McG antics because that's who he always wanted to be. Only he wasn't actually tough enough to take shots, so he taught Boxercize classes to housefraus.

Anderson must have been so confused during the fight with Nick. When Anderson used to clown around and do stupid shit he was usually winning fights. Nick was doing jack shit and then laying down and pretending to be a Bruce Lee statue in there.

The great Don Frey said this in an interview, long before the Silva fight:

On whether he likes Nick Diaz: “Yeah, but I think he needs to spend more time throwing punches than throwing fingers. If you’re going to insult somebody, make sure you can whoop their ass. Whoop their ass and then insult them. Don’t spend your time trying to flip them off and then get your ass kicked. What does that prove?”

I think his argument is that steroid users are cheaters and thus don't count and his only two "real" losses of note are to GSP (often accused of PEDs) and Anderson (caught with PEDs) which, although I certainly don't personally agree with it, is at least a cogent argument to make.

what about losses to sanchez and noons?

This thread reeks of butthurt from angry Condit fans still shook from UFC 195

Diaz will do what Condit couldn't do

Finish Lawler..again and that scares Condit fans knowing that Diaz will get UFC gold while Condit has an interim.

Diaz says that he's the best fighter, if the rules didn't so heavily favor point fighting and top control wrestlers.

Is that true? Who knows.

If Condit was penalized for kicking and running all night, and GSP was penalized for stalling on the ground, and they were forced to actually fight Nick, he could've actually won those fights.

Here's an idea. Why not start a new sport, removing the word MIXED from whatever title you choose.

Here are the rules. You stand in one spot, blindfolded, while ever-heavier bowling balls, suspended from ropes, are pulled back and released, swinging forward and smashing you in the face. Last guy standing wins.

Diaz Bros will be champs of their divisions, without doubt.

Congrats. Wear those belts proudly.

Not to mention his worst loss, to weed. Submitted by 5 year suspension.

Almost as bad was his beatdown by the 2nd grade arithmetic book, when he was in 8th grade.

Will Robbie still be fighting in 2020?

hahahhahahahahahahahahaa wow dude you're so funny omg how'd you come up with that.

Its not possible to have rules in MMA that don't favor point fighting or top control right? PRIDE never existed right? Gtfoh

If only Ali had to stand flat footed in his fights, imagine how The Acorn would have whupped him! Not to mention that damned Ray Leonard always backpedalng!! Those two would have been killed fighting in fights under the 1890s rules.

I may be wrong. You might be able to take on the Diaz Bros in this new sport

No Brain, No Pain.

FU--209--wut wut!

One of the all-time great post fight statements, coming after a fight in which Nate's corner threw in the towel..
