- Alex GOATan Pereira, second legit opponent since Blazkowicz, marches down "striking genius" and sends him into different realm. Luckysanya pulls off a miracle KO using unsportsmanlike conduct pretending to be unconscious in the 2nd fight; was completely destroyed during the fight tho
- shuts down or avoids or clowns about any questions related to trilogy vs. Alex Pereira. UFC executives protecting Izzy by any means, presenting Pereira a LHW contender-bout
- UFC sends a contract to traumatized Dricus DuPlesis thus protects Izzy from a rare legit opponent in his career to force a fight against meme-fighter DeSean Strickland who mixes up losses and wins
- 2-month box training Sean Strickland wipes the floor for 25 minutes with "genius striker" completely exposing the fraud named Adesanya

ALexs last couple of wins don't negatively effect Izzy but Izzy himself I think negatively effected his career when he ran way from a 3rd fight with Alex and then lost to the hand picked opponent he fought instead.

He went from looking like he could be the MW GOAT this year to now almost certainly never being that.

I agree with most of that but "Alex trains Sean" is a total exaggeration, they sparred together for like a week. You're phrasing it like he mentored Sean the whole camp lol, Sean just popped in there for a few sessions. He did his camp with Xtreme Couture as usual.
