Welcome to the social media era as its just the way of things now Im afraid. With this latest publicity stunt for UFC 200 it's now undeniable that the UFC has abandoned the serious mixed martial arts aficionado in favor of the casual fan who needs professional wrestling style drama in order to remain interested. I guess it makes sense...why should anyone be interested in this pointless LW rematch at WW that has absolutely no relevance in regards to title contention? Without some sort of contrived emotional string plucking people might just start to realize how dumb this fight is.
It's becoming increasingly embarrassing to admit that I am an MMA fan.
Thanks UFC.

kasparov was right and FIDE is corruptDon't bring death into the conversation.
This sport was born in spectacle and spectacle will always be a part of it.
Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad.
There is drama in every sport. Even professional chess has had its divas.
The celebrities, and characters, and nonsense is all bringing interest and thereby helping the sport survive.
"serious" mma fans on sherdogger levels don't actually buy PPVs
Hahaha, nobody knows what we are talking about.kasparov was right and FIDE is corrupt
Bellator is now getting better competition with UFC since they sunk down to their level. Maybe that's a good thing. UFC ain't a monopoly anymore.
That can applied to pretty much everything.UFC doesn't care if they have the best fighters, they care if you believe it.
Because you're talking a lot about money and promotion and I know for a fact money and promotion doesn't make quality fights.
MMA fans want this to be about fighting.
