The Anime and Manga Thread v48

Finished Clevatess and while it started off a bit meh it got really good towards the middle. Excited for next season. Also glad that the team is changed at the end because I thought 1 character being around all the time wasn't going to be all that good.
 
I saw an article about various free with ads streaming services and it said Crunchyroll lets you watch some free without subscribing, so I updated the app and the free list wasn't that long, but had original Dragon Ball, but at some point you need Premium subscription to continue.

I think Crunchyroll is where my digital copy from Funimation is supposed to be but when last checked, could only watch on computer and not on Apple TV's app.

EDIT: Now my Funimation digital copy cannot be watched on Crunchyroll website or on Apple TV app without subscription.

Damn, those guys should be sued.
 
I watched a couple of Naruto episodes on Crunchyroll and they kept showing me the same ads sometimes same ad twice or more in same ad break. Final Fantasy Tactics, skin care sticker, Air Force military where the blonde had the most superb round buns in tight leggings. At the end they had her pivot to make sure it was clear the shape was superb.

Just search for "Naruto Kai". They will show filler episodes to skip (almost half in Shippuden) and/or other sites to stream and make things much smoother.
 
Oh boy, I sure do love it when a series kills a character 100+ chapters in without having killed any major characters previously. The World After the Fall just killed

@GSP_37 Also another alternative is Rebuild of Naruto. It's another condensed version of Naruto, but it was meant to be even better done than Naruto Kai. Find the discord link and it has all the links to download every episode (it's usually grouped as sets and an "episode" is long and basically an arc). Let me know if you can't find it. I can just post all the links to download, but it's good to understand how they broke down each "episode." If not Naruto Kai is pretty good. That's the way I watched Naruto.
 


This is the anime of the season, imo. It captures the 90s feel for me. Soldiers getting diced up with a light saber while beautiful jazz fusion is playing in the background. Also, they legalized degeneracy.

Watched several episodes of Naruto from the beginning mostly on Netflix and rather not skip any filler and miss out on character development.

The first opening song is good and I read it's from the 80's.

I still listen to Naruto intro songs while working. Asian Kungfu Generation was peak J-poprock.
 
Chainsaw Man movie comes out Tomorrow. Anyone planning on seeing it? I've heard it has got good reviews and done well in Japan, but the hype of Demon Slayer have overshadowed it.
