My brother sent me a short clip of a chinese anime. He said the animation is topnotch. I agree. I then asked him about the plot? He said it's shit. I wouldn't know. I don't watch commie shit.

Insert title/position (Lord, God, Prince) of (Wuxia clan, group, cult) = Manhwa, Manhua

If the summary is the series' title, it's a shitty gen z manga.

No joke. Youtube recommended some clips of Chinese donghua. The animation is really good. The fight scenes looked really good but I am expecting the story to be off because of censorship. I was honestly surprised when they allowed beheading and blood. This series is a ninja scroll or sword of stranger rip off but it's beautiful.

That was good. Why can't that fake anime studio down in Austin do half of what this pinkos can?

They have another style that is more cartoony with the really dark shading/borders. I don't like that style as much. It is too clean looking. The animation is better but it sort of lacks detail.


I think they are ahead in terms of implementing tech/AI to animation than the Japanese. Japanese people are very resistant to change. It could be also what they have. Japan's work is mixed CGI and Chinese is all 3D CGI.

I've been hearing so much hype for Lord of Mysteries. I finally watched it and it took so much effort to finish the first episode. I absolutely hate the way it is paced. I notice similarities with other Chinese productions. Their pacing is so fast and chaotic. I tried to watch Ne Zha and just stopped after less than 10 minutes.

To Be Hero X is easier to digest. I really am hoping for a major payoff down the line with all these individual character build ups.
 
Watching clevatess and dandandan this season.

I'm really enjoying clevatess so far (ep3) but I really feel it would be so much better if it had the more mature artstyle of 90s anime.

Inconsistent. Ep4's art is so much better. They probably let forced labor studios do majority of the work with the occasional good ones done in house.
 
Mushoku Tensei Light Novels are all free if you have an Audible account. Each one seems to be about 6-9 hours long, and voice-acted really well. I'm already on book 8 and the Impotent Magician arc, and thoroughly enjoying them. Adds a lot to the story. If anyone enjoys the anime and wants to read the LN, you can now listen for free.

it’s so fucking good. this season so far has been heaters on heaters on heaters especially. the score, characters & character design, the animation in general, the story, action, heart, & comedy have been absolutely firing on all cylinders

From the creator of Nichijou. Basically 4-5 sketches per episode of light humor. Good enough to watch if you're bored waiting for other series to catch up.
 
Whoa, we just went into Ranma territory for Dandadan. The romance subplot makes me smile (shut up, you know you love it!).

I just wish the opening song was as good as last season's. I can't really rock out to the new OP. The ending song with its video for this season is just awesome, much better than the first season's. It's the perfect song for Dandadan to end every episode.
