The Anime and Manga Thread v48

As much as I loved episode 12 of Solo Leveling, some minor quibbles.

The system basically saved Jinwoo again by giving him the Mutilation skill at the very last second. The system did this once or twice before and It just cheapens the fight a little. Hope there's no more deus ex machina gimmicks going forward (I doubt it).
Was different in the comic. Was basically owning without the upgrade, wasn’t even necessary for the win.

Ah Ishura, one of my favs is back with S2.Brutal show. And I love it. Your favorite character won't be safe. I love the characters, each and every one of them is epic. The narration is epic.Anything can happen in this show,no rules really.

I'll give it a shot.

I just found out that they Boruto cashgrab the shit out of Solo Leveling.

I'm gonna watch Lazarus ( by bebop director) and maybe Yaiba remake.

What the fuck is incest family 🤣🤣

Should have just stuck to that. I thought the same thing that it was cheap to give him that upgrade at the last minute. Oh well small issue with the overall season but I loved it either way.

Finished Failure frame which I thought was pretty good just wish it had more episodes to really get into the story.

Demon Lord 2099 was mindless fun. Funnier than I thought it would be.

Code Geass new season was ok but mostly a waste of time and pointless.

First episode of Lazarus, not sure how I feel about just yet, I'll give it a other couple of episodes. I always enjoyed Watanabe and crews particular animation style. This show looks to be more series, which I've been looking for

Although I dont like the the use of jazz and the protagonist acts too confident, too cool and it's annoying to me

Watched the first two episodes of MOONRISE released on Netflix, I don't know much at all going in but so far so good

I am going to watch more Devil May Cry. It's considered anime or nah?

Happy to see Windbreaker is back. Season 1 was a pleasant surprise, so hopefully this season keeps it up

Holy hell, so disappointed with this new anime. I've heard that the manhwa source material was so beloved and that this anime adaptation was supposed to be the next big thing, the next Solo Leveling some are saying.

After two episodes, The Beginning After the End (Mushoku Tensei clone or as I prefer to call it The Slideshow After the End) was a major letdown. The animation looked cheap as hell. What animation?? It was just mostly still frames and slideshows. The character design looked so mid, like from one of those cheap run-of-the-mill isekai anime. Dumbest decision to go with Studio A-Cat whose best rated anime in their entire library was just a 6.75 in MAL.
