The fights are better but this isn't Naruto. They don't do hand signs anymore.

Major spoiler I guess


Naruto loses the powers of the tailed fox, and access to his limitless chakra, and Sasuka gets either blinded or one eye ripped out, making him weaker as well

Yea but neither of those situations interest me. I got my fill of the ninja world in the other shows. Not going to watch them destroy characters I love just to build up new ones.
 
God, Boruto is just awful all around. Naruto in many ways too fell off hard for me too. particularly during the great final war. the buildup to it was awesome, I looked forward to the weekly chapters with such anticipation. but as soon as they introduced the two cloud nin brothers (gold & silver whateverthefuck), it was all downhill from there. felt like Kishi lost structure & just winged it.
 
So I actually finished Record of Ragnarok last night. Obviously has the Baki and Kengan Ashura vibe. I wasn't paying full attention during a lot the back stories, but I'm a little hyped to see Buddha fight at least. That dude seems to give zero fucks. The pace is a little slow though. I'm guessing it will take another 3 seasons to finish....

Now that Im back ish and have caught up with the last 5 weeks of Northern Blade , part 2 feels fully set up. The New Northen Heavenly sect looks ready to make their move and Warrior Dam looks like a direct friction point for the Central Heavenly Alliance. Now it remains to be seen if Moyong is allowing them to get stronger because of negligence or full confidence in what he has built up.
 
Can't find a thread on it but this Vox Machina on Amazon is greatness n maybe my favorite animated show I have see. Comedy, action, gore, etc. Mayb3 a slight notch below Arcane buy really close. On par to Castlevsnia at least for me
 
I've been to episode 20s of Hunter x Hunter. Wonder when they will introduce Nen.

So far it's been really good. I don't agree that they are on the same par with FMAB though.

I was a big fmab fan but HxH is so much better imo. Give it time to marinate it is in my top anime series all time (and many other peoples obviously).

I'd be lying if I didn't say the exposition-heavy formatting of the last dozen chapters hasn't annoyed me, but story-wise I think it's in an interesting place. It's almost ended up like they didn't even do a time-skip considering how much of the details they've filled back in.

Yeah they pretty much filled in majority of the gaps. The only main question marks left are how his Love Interest is actually doing and also the twin headed asura.

Latest Northern Blade , interesting that Dam didn't hide that directly killed one of the Nine Skies . Also Moyong clearly is in charge but even him and the Illusion Master don't seem to have a grasp of the Northen Heavenly Sects hidden movements. Good to see Ha Seoul , ominous last few panels.

Nen is coming up in 1-2 arcs? It is not really that important yet.

FMAB is driving in a super fast car moving in a constant speed. HxH is like a rollercoaster. There are some arcs that were completely boring for me then it goes Brrrrr.
