Television The Anime and Manga Thread: v45

Anybody got recommendations for series with 50+ chapters (preferably 100 or even 200+)? A lot of the stuff that I've been trying recently has less than 30 chapters and I'm getting frustrated by reading something for an hour, really enjoying it, and then it abruptly runs out of content*. Genre, vintage, and manga/webtoon don't matter, I'll try almost anything.

*Some of these series
The Lazy Lord Masters the Sword
A Useless Villain
Doom Breaker
The Ember Knight
Batman: Wayne Family Adventures
Book Eater
The Lone Necromancer
Killer Ape
Seoul Station Druid
Solo Max Level Newbie

Asura - Poison Dragon - 58 chapters
Omniscient Readers Viewpoint 75 Chapters
Taming Master - 60 Chapters
Nano Machine - 74 Chapters
Whiteblood / Unholyblood - 90 Chapters finished.
Advanced Player of the Tutorial Tower - 78 chapters
The Boxer - 93 chapters . I know you dropped it early because of the breakneck pace, but all of that was essentially creating the circumstances for the Main Character.

Appreciate the reply. Unfortunately I've tried all of them, and the bolded are all part of my currently following list. I'd say Nano Machine is my current favorite of the bunch.

I actually dropped The Boxer because of the constant backstory of random opponents just killing the pacing of the fights and overall narrative. It's like, I don't care about your sob-story of the week, I'll never see this character again after they've gotten their ass-whoopin'.

Did you get to the Fabrizio Brothers ? Because that shifts flips the series around a bit,

Don’t know why the German Opening for One Piece gets me so pumped.

Ohhhhh - One Piece! Nananana nanana nanana One Piece Nananana nanana nanana One Piece!

Yugioh GX too.

And Yu Yu Hakusho ending 1 English. So much nostalgia watching this on Toonami/Adult Swim.

Martial Peak. It’s on chapter 1584 and I am really enjoying the series.

I've tried that one back in 2019 and stopped reading 38 chapters in. Couldn't even tell you any details, just that it was a very chinese-martial-arts-by-numbers series.

That said, I might give it a second try, I'm pretty desperate. EDIT: well, maybe not. I flipped through a couple chapters, including the last chapter I had read, and remembered why I dumped it in the first place. The MC suddenly starts murdering dudes and it's treated like no big deal, even using comical drawings for the corpses. It was incredibly jarring and was the last straw for a series that was neither particularly particularly well drawn, well written, nor original.

It starts off really slow... but once the main character is semi-developed it was a page turner to me. Yes it's a Chinese manga and it revolves around cultivating your art/skill. The power leveling/creep can becoming quite insane but they work around it in a good way i think.

Ricardo is not fighting Sendo…

So it could be Miyata possibly.

Or even Woli. Please no.

@JBSchroeds I didn't realize the Leviathan scans was behind on doing Northern Blade so I was behind by 2 chapters damn.
It's always a nice surprise when you don't realize something is behind and you get multiple chapters. Same thing happened to me a few days ago with Rebuild World; it's a monthly series so I don't look for it on any schedule and suddenly got three chapters.

On the Subject of Northern Blade , I like that the MC is OP and compelling but the political piece and scheming is being done by people he has sought out for their talents , this series has a very good supporting cast that are very distinct, absolutely a gem.

I wonder why the necromancer archetype seems to have exploded in popularity in the last few years. Solo Leveling, Kill the Hero, SSS Class Suicide Hunter, The Lone Necromancer, Ranker's Return, and I think there's a couple iseki that I'm forgetting on top of those.

Don't forget that Demon Slayer as a Manga is completed. Finished. Done. They are likely trying to extend the Anime as long as they can to keep making money lol.
