I agree the pistol grip thing is a dead issue, because it's largely preferential and has nothing to do what some dumbass whose never held a gun thinks about combat design, you're wrong; it's a common occurrence when you don't actually know what you're talking about and have to post videos of neck beards juggling cutlery to make a point about firearm accessories, get over it.

They never attack the weaker and older less able to defend themself.

I have had to use a firearm to defend myself and my family.

That's an option for him to move, but are you saying he has obligation? If that's the case, who are you assigning moral agency to exactly? The home invader or the home owner?

The chances of your house getting invaded where they are dressed in body armor and geared up like swat is incredibly low.

A pistol could do the job.

They called the cops but he kick through the door before they got there so the guy dropped him.

Absolutely not. Handguns have a notoriously low legality rate compared to rifles. Frankly, if you want to be arguing for banning anything, hand guns should be your center of attention. They're overwhelmingly used in crimes more than rifles. Yet here you're going on about pistol grips... on rifles. Talk about being penny wise and pound foolish. It's obvious you're harping on the rifles and pistol grips because that's what you see being used by the military. It's all just a matter of aesthetics and emotions to you, and the focus of your argument bares that out.

I'm going on because it's the weapon of choice of people who wanna just go to a public place and shoot shit.

I'd like to see the tools they can get their hands on tapered down some. a pistol can do damage, sure...but it's not comparable with an AR.

It depends on the person and the situation as to the type of weapon.

But once you pull a gun and fire on an intruder, chances are high they are gonna retreat and run for their lives. (i know, i know...I'm dealing with a crowd of posters in this thread that have a blood lust and need to kill anything that wrongs them if it's allowed by law)

It seems pretty irresponsible to use such a powerful weapon in an urban environment.
