His potential to do bad things is drastically increased by the power he chose to bring with him to the corner store. And why would he need to bring such shit to the corner store? Yeah....fuck that situation.

I life just fine. I'm just not gonna be the only schmuck in the corner store not armed if everyone else is bringing a fucking gun to the room. So if my environment got to the point that everyone around me was armed...I'd unfortunately have to become armed by necessity.

So in this sense, you bringing the gun to the corner store has escalated my having to bring a gun now to the fucking corner store...

Means I'm much more likely to have an accident with my gun. Either it gets stolen, I get paranoid that you are going to draw first so I draw first...whatever the case I make a piss poor decision and in the end someone gets shot because of it.

Found a couple year old article and saw something interesting according to Pew.. 41 percent of gun owners identify as conservative... 23 percent identify as liberal. Although to be fair about half of gun owners that I know in Chicago vote for Democrats.

They're also islands with the exception of Canada which is NOT a gun free zone. Furthermore the UK has a higher violent crime rate then the US so that's kind of a weird example unless you're hyper focusing on guns. Crime is gonna crime with or without guns. At least with guns you have a fighting chance of not becoming another victim.

The way you demonize guns is hilarious though. Calling gun owners pussies while you're the one shaking in your boots at the sight of every civilized gun owner.

Somebody holds power over the other in literally every interaction ever... taking away guns isn't magically gonna make everybody equal. However guns balance out power differences pretty damned well
