Under review The ads. Tone this down please.

Starting back in 2007 I visited this site almost daily. I love the forums no matter how many times I got banned. But for the last 3 or 4 years I've probably been here 20 times tops. It is gotten so incredibly awful visiting this website. I have exited out of a little ad in my bottom right corner six times since opening this page 2 minutes ago.

Ban me again I don't care. We're all eventually going to find another website to start going to and discussing MMA. You don't even ban people here for fighter bashing anymore like so you've lost all credibility.
 
Ads blocking logging in, blocking content, and crashing my browser constantly. I can't even read some posts at all, I just joined and I'm regretting it

On the big sites one policy change and your group / subforum is gone.
 
Is anyone else getting these little ads with video at the bottom right corner of their screen? It's super annoying at best but disgusting at worst.

One of the ads is a cream for warts and it shows you videos of people's skin covered in gross warts. Why would you show that?? Why do you think that is an effective marketing tactic?
 
I like the ones where the edges of the screen close in so you can’t see anything.

Or the one where it’s in the middle of the page mid scroll, and you can’t move it, so you will never be able to see the comment underneath it.

Everything has managed to get worse. More page refreshes, more screens closing in and more posts being cut off by mid page ads as you scroll. As I’m posting here green bars keep closing in on me non stop.

The ads make the site almost unusable. Especially on mobile.

While typing a post, the screen will refresh to display more ads and I will lose my message. It’s happened twice while I was typing this and had to re-type it. It’s infuriating.

I know you have to make money but not being able to type a post without it getting lost due to ads is too much.

Yeah, its actually ridiculous sir.
Seems people have been complaining since the "upgrade" yet it's only gotten worse.

  • No way to close video ad at the bottom of the page
  • Mute button is under "learn more" button
  • Ad replays within 5 seconds of finishing

Been getting long bottom of the page ads forever but now I’m getting ads in between posts too

I can’t use the site most days because it auto redirects to some Norton ad landing page. I thought paying for plat killed ads. I don’t know how to get around this other than posting about it here.

Give me ads on the bottom of the page, give me 500 of them. Do not put them inside the fucking posts on the forum! Like who thought of that? What were they thinking?

This is garbage. I guess I’ll have to come here even less. Congrats on ruining it
