But like I said, this isn't 2009. Pac isn't selling a a million and a half PPVs every time out now.If Pac and his promoters want to cover big purses, then they need to find a quality opponent. A few years ago, fans would pay to watch Pac wipe his ass. Not so today. He needs a quality dance partner more than he used to.
who's going to make Danny a star though? He's not the kind of guy with crazy DLH types of Charisma, he's inconsistent with his entertainment factor, the Puerto Rican fanbase hasn't really taken to him. If Danny wants to be a star, KOing Pac will do that, not much else. Pac is also very clearly the A-side. Danny's less of a name than Bradley, and that's the money Bradley took against Pac.
This is being handed a golden opportunity on a silver platter: a fading Pac, still probably the biggest name in boxing. You beat him, you become the next big thing. Swift should take the money while he still can.
