The 5 potential opponents for Pacquiao

I agree that Garcia and Thurman both bump the numbers. Those are very good fights, ones that boxing fans want to see. Pac is a guy who can only sell 350k by himself right now, but with the right matchup that number goes back up north of 800k.

You can't give Broner $8 million, and he probaby would not have accepted it (he wanted PPV points too, in addition to $10 million). The offer they made was very fair, and he is a complete idiot for passing. It makes me think he may not have wanted the fight, for some odd reason.

The fight to make is Danny. He is the most accomplished fighter on that list, and he is the most experienced. It would sell very well, it would be competitive, and it would actually make sense from a relevancy standpoint.
Danny would be a good fight but if Crawford does well against Postol Arum can keep the fight in house.

That's a great fight too. Arum once said he would make that fight at 140, which would be cool.

I only prefer the Garcia fight because of Garcia's experience.

Twitter saying it's going to be Vargas.

Gay. Vargas turning into the guy to beat up on when you want to look good

Garcia and Thurman can a little. There is some name recognition there.
I think they wanted Broner because they knew his connection to Mayweather and his antics would drive ppv sales.
Broner knew that and demanded $10m.
They should give him $8m and make the fight

Broner really demanded $10m? What an idiot. He's not making even half of that fighting anyone else. It's like he thinks that being asked is the real honor.

He has the same attitude as one of those actors who loses at the Academy Awards and says it was an honor just to be nominated.

In this case though the actor found out he was nominated, called the academy and told them to remove him from the ballet, and then wants to get an indie film to pay him millions of dollars for a supporting role because he had the opportunity to become an academy award winner.

Still breaks down in some places, but the point of the analogy is that Broner is a stooge.

Then that nominated actor parties too hard, gets arrested repeatedly, and loses out on whatever potential their career once had.

Maybe Broner is Mickey Rourke circa 1988.

Rourke had a come back though. Then again, I can see Broner doing a wrestling match in his 50's, yeah.

Who said it?

It should be Thurman vs Vargas (on PBC) and Garcia vs Pac, and Spence vs Kell Brook (on PBC)

My top 5

1. Terence Crawford
2. Terence Crawford
3. Terence Crawford
4. Terence Crawford
5. Terence Crawford

Honestly the only guy I see beating manny still clearly is Floyd. Pac excells in fire fights when guys come for him or willing to trade.

Maybe Spence since he is huge at 47 but the experience difference is huge.

Manny stops them all.
Come on dude, when's the last time Manny stopped someone. If he can miraculously go back 7 years maybe he has a chance, but honestly, I see Manny struggling against at least 3 of those guys right now.

How often is the fight you want the same as the fight you get?
