Gave the voting 2 solid rounds. The thing that cost in the final round was lack of substance. Hard to go against the gif master in a head to head. and @Zebra Cheeks has been quick on the trigger to save my ass at least 3 times <45> some of the jokes end up going too dark.

And women can't fight with men... it's why they have their own org. Not so ridiculous for them to be never as good.

I dare you to watch Julija Stoliarenko vs Lisa Verzosa or Lupita Godinez vs Vanessa Demopolous and tell me what they weren't fucking awesome fights.

And why should women have to fight men to prove they can fight? Every weight class is people fighting their peers. It's the only way to make sure fights are as fair as possible.

My memory is shot to pieces but there were loads of great fights this year I’m forgetting.

It was a very memorable exhibition. I remember the 1st being the same as the 2nd and the 3rd and also remember going to fridge to make time pass quicker. I remember it having less MMA than Figgy/Moreno.

I don’t get the Figgy-Moreno love. It was a very good fight, no doubt about that, but I don’t see it as a FOTY. Weili-Joanna was a fuckin banger.

It had everything the JJ v ZW fight had and more from every MMA aspect. It's statically arguably a better candidate for the vote. But this is a straight popularity contest and guys like women more than manlets.

Not meaning to gang up on you, although “3 on 1” was one of my recent Pornhub searches.
I liked the Figgy fight. It’s sorta like that Melendez-Diego fight a few years back. Good, exciting fight (I’m a big Melendez fan) but didn’t have me on the edge of my seat the way Jones-Gus 1 or Hendo-Shogun 1 did. I always thought people overrated how good it was, and I think Figgy-Moreno is overrated as well. Weili-JJ was absolutely insane, I was riveted by that crazy shit. Figgy-Moreno was a good fight. But there was no real close near finishes that I recall, there was no doubt who was winning on the scorecards by the end. It just didn’t reach FOTY levels for me.
But this is all subjective anyway.
