If someone shoots you in the leg, you're no longer concerned about attacking someone with your bat.

They are now reporting that I made a terroristic threat when I told the mailman to stay away from the girls windows because he might get shot..I also have had Adult Protective Services called stating that I am not in my right mind 3 hours after all transpired I told them I am fine and asked why they were calling they said because Abilene Police Department called saying I was a danger to myself.. Not anyone else to myself.. Sounds to me like Adult Protective Services weren't doing much Protecting if what he said about them preventing him from getting his meds, is correct.

He was only a danger to himself, apparently, 'cause APD(or whatever they're called) exacerbated his condition.

Of course that's IF we believe his rants.....Normally, I wouldn't but I've seen authorities act like complete and total DICKS too often not to at least CONSIDER the possibility....

None of us are . . . we can only speculate.

I would not have gotten killed in that situation, nor would I have killed anyone. That much I can say.

I think most rational people would've walked away.

You have the responsibility of not stooping to the attacker's level and killing him.

The Police are not going to be of the same mind as you.

They are going to say that they could've shot him in the leg to prevent him from advancing further or something like that.

Plus the fact he did not have a gun himself, makes it a bit more likely that the "self-defense" argument doesn't exactly hold much water.

These two are serving time. That much, I can safely say. No way they go free.

His entire head is fucked, skin is peeled from the skull and its flappy, most the blood does seem to be coming from the back of the head though. Watch the video im talking about, just search aaron howard liveleak on google since i cant post it here, first link should be it. Only about 5 seconds, but still its 5 seconds of "best gore" material.
