Who Has Terrible Accents?

Whenever I hear someone from Boston or New England say "wicked."

I don't know if it's the accents or the people but Chinese and German people always sound angry.

Especially Chinese, it always seems like they are yelling and very harsh.

Germans seems like they always are at an aggro level of 10 and are ready to fight.

Chile. They’re borderline incomprehensible when they try to speak English. One of the Unions that I regularly have to deal with in my work has this like 70 year old Chilean dude as their legal counsel and I cannot understand a fucking thing he says.

For anyone unfamiliar with the Chilean accent it sounds like this:

Pretty standard strong Spanish accented English, imo. He could be from Chile, Mexico, Nicaragua, anywhere really.

In the Spanish-speaking world, working-class Chilean Spanish is widely considered the most incomprehensible.

And whenever there's a discussion of accents, I feel obligated to post this glorious video.

Asian immigrant (possibly Vietnamese) that's spent a lot of time in the hood

I’ve never been to Nicaragua but I’ve spent several weeks in Mexico and have never struggled like I have with that Chilean lawyer. Doesn’t help that the dude possibly has dementia as he constantly calls me by the wrong name, even in emails, and we’re not even talking like a similar name to mine, it’s not even close.

They need to stop that. I remember in California where everything had to be "radical". I saw a film where they shoehorned the word "radical" into the script as often as they could hoping it would be a buzz word dog whistle for moviegoers to storm the box office.

If outer space were a country it would be France. Lorne Michaels thought so.

Mississippi/Alabama. Most southern accents aren't all that bad (I have a bit of a mild one myself), but the accents in rural Alabama and Mississippi are atrocious.

That would be Cantonese I think. Mandarin is more hissing. I don't mind their English accent. It's Malaysian/Singaporean English that irks me a little. They know the words, they have a grasp of grammar and sentence structure, but they use the Chinese cadence when they speak.

I'm British but I lived in Canada for many years, and I picked up saying 'eh' at the end of every sentence. Like I do it waaay more than any Canadian I've ever met to the point that it annoys me. Canadians take the mick out of me for saying it so much

The southern accent is interesting because they’re somewhere in between rape and incest

My Grandparents were Russian and they still sounded like they were about to kill each other on Valentine's Day too.

I actually became a fan of Country Music though them and not my mom from Texas. My Grandfather said, "To be American you must learn how to be Cowboy."

A Russian woman meets with a friend telling her how much her husband loves her. The friend responds, "But your body is covered in bruises!" The Russian woman proudly and smugly replies, "Yes but he never hit me in face."

What are the 2 happiest days of a Russian woman's life?
The day she gets married and the day she becomes a widow.

Everyone from Newcastle and Liverpool have accents I'd be happy to not hear ever again in my life
