Law Tesla Cars are being lit on fire

The left has a problem with intolerance all the while portraying themselves as the ones that are tolerant and inclusive. I guess you guys think its okay because its Musk but It wasn't that long ago they were burning down churches because they were upset by RvW.
The lefts idea of inclusion is the exclusion of the right. That's not very tolerant. They need to figure a way to compromise and get out of this little conundrum or will consistently face rough pushback.

I think the left is by and large WAY more tolerant than the right. but they dont always get things right. I think they had every right to protest rvw but do not support any violence or vandalism at all obviously.

why did you throw Christianity into the original comment man?
Hahaha!!

When was the last time a group on the right

Burned vehicles
Looted and burned buildings
Harrasessed and threatened students on campus

lol

This is the motherload of false equivalency; the two aren't remotely comparable. Elon is doing extremely illegal and unconstitutional shit, dismantling the government including agencies that were actively investigating him and his companies and he's fucking up hundreds of thousands of people's lives (and soon to be millions from the looks of it), Bud Light is just mediocre beer. It doesn't even have enough flavor to harm taste buds.

I don't know whether you're not the sharpest peanut in the turd or if you're one of the loser long con trolls but it's not a good look either way.
Cool way to say you justify the criminal acts bro,

I haven't gone through the data in a couple of years, but last time I looked it was mostly skinheads killing their wives and friends. Not that much different from gang killings, but they are ideologically gross so gets conflated as politically motivated. There really aren't that many politically motivated killings in the U.S.

edit:
These are the first two listed

  • Los Angeles, California, December 3, 2023. In an apparent murder-suicide, Richard Yapelli, Jr., shot the aunt with whom he had been living, set fire to the residence, then shot himself. His aunt had reportedly been preparing to kick him out. In the 1980s, Yapelli had been one of the leaders of Fight for Freedom (FFF), one of several street gangs with white supremacist tendencies that formed from California’s punk subculture. Evidence found in the home by police suggested that Yapelli still had white supremacist leanings.[17]
  • Phoenix, Arizona, August 27, 2023. Phoenix police officers arrested three people in connection with the murder of a gay man who shared a house with two of the suspects. The victim was allegedly beaten to death in his driveway. One of the suspects, Cory Young, who was not charged with the murder but with hindering the investigation, reportedly has a substantial history in the white supremacist movement. Although the mother of the victim has expressed her belief that the killing was a hate-motived murder, police have not yet called the murder a hate crime. This report categorizes the incident as having a non-ideological or unknown motive, though that may change if more evidence emerges.[18]

And charging stations apparently

This is at least the third incident. What is your opinion on this trend?

I mean its wrong, don't set stuff on fire as fire is dangerous and all.

But in light of the Trump regime taking a sledgehammer to the Constitution I can't say I really care that much. If anything the idea that you'd prosecute these people as terrorists is more worrying to me. I've always felt one of the greatest threats to our civil liberties is concept creep in regards to terrorism. I'm highly skeptical of the national security apparatus built to tackle Islamic terrorists but I don't think its architects did so in bad faith, they were really dealing with a unique problem. They may have exploited the public's fear to overreach but I don't doubt they were actually trying to tackle the problem and keep us safe.

Going after these Tesla arsonists as terrorists seems like a blatant way to privilege the interests of the allies of the regime at the expense of our civil liberties. Trump even said people were illegally boycotting Tesla, what the heck is an illegal boycott?

You should look up the paradox of tolerance
I get the concept, however neither side has a monopoly on intolerance. I see more of it from the left and an unwillingness to compromise. You have to keep in mind that everything you see is a perspective from varying points of view. Civil discourse can produce much more fruitful discussion than just labeling everything you disagree with a negative buzzword (not saying you do this). Not saying all the left does this, but I see it more frequently.

That is an absolutely insane thing to say.

Civil discourse would be great. It's not going to happen with the current administration.

Opinions don't equal facts and perspectives don't equal truths. You're free to disagree.

Referring to Elon, not the owners. I don't think vandalizing cars will fix it; protests, dropping his stock, and other countries tearing up contracts with his companies will do the most damage to him. Flame broiling some poor sap's Tesla isn't gonna do much other than hurt the owner.
Ok, what active harm has Elon Musk done to you or the people setting cars on fire, even though he's not the owner of these cars? The people setting strangers' cars on fire are doing active harm to the people who bought them, so retaliation from the owners would be understandable, but in what way has Elon Musk made your life worse? He's the single biggest individual taxpayer in world history, and has done more than anyone else for "climate change", one of the supposed main priorities of the left, by popularizing EVs, but we're pretty light on details on how the guy has made your life worse.

Let's just say hypothetically the left wing terrorists achieve their goal and nobody ever buys a Tesla again and the stock goes to 0. Great, Elon would still be worth $230 billion from his Space X stake, twitter ownership and neuralink, and you "actively harmed" every regular retail investor and retirement fund with Tesla stock or any ETF that owns it, which is 90% of Tesla ownership, and they are harmed a lot more than Elon Musk would be. They going to start setting rocket ships on fire too?

I do.

It is patently absurd to say that the right is more tolerant than the left.
I said I see it more from the left, not that it's an objective fact. This ties into opinions and perspectives not equaling facts or truths. Everyone is to an extent guilty of this. America and more broadly, the world is a big place with many people of varying experiences and backgrounds. People on both sides should stop thinking their shit doesn't stink and try to find compromise because what we have currently is clearly not working.

No offense, if you see more intolerance from the left then you are really not paying attention.

Enlightened centrism is such bullshit. Respectfully.

Both sides are not equally intolerant, and it's ridiculous to suggest that they are.
