Terrible decision.... Blaydes lost that fight

lmao no he doesn't. His best win is Gane who lost to Volkov and would lose to Blaydes.

Oh, we can just make things up? Tom aspinall got knocked out by Gane already.

Theres no way that cheater will ever fight in the usa
They had this card over there because he’s probably full of steroids again
Once a cheater always a cheater
They had his debut in Baku for many reasons and his oissing hot is one of them

Score fights as a whole based on total cumulative damage is a hill I will die on.

Which is a moronic suggestion. Do we just base it on damage we can see? So no need going to the body/legs then, just headhunting looking for that facial damage to win the fight? Does a bit of bruising to the face trump broken ribs, or do we have to wait for a for hospital examination before we can declare the winner

Nah, nah, Razor won the fight by taking 1 and 3 pretty clearly. It was nothing spectacular and he didnt win by a mile but he won clearly and it would have been a small robbery if the fance grabbing cheater got the dec.

Damage is a concept - high impact strikes that cause a body to move, react, cause discomfort, etc. When you see someone get hit clean and their head snaps back, their body crunches over, their leg swings out…endless examples.

Cuts, bruises, swelling can be superficial or can be the result of devastating strikes. It’s up to a judge to use their expertise to gauge why the result is what it is from the strike.

I don’t know why some of you guys play games to not understand the obvious. Let’s just have judges use a completely different set of subjective interpretations right?

The result is always a subjective interpretation, but at least if you make it damage-based everyone fighting will have a clear idea of what to be doing in a fight to win over judges - try to hurt their opponent as frequently and badly as possible.

Blaydes looked god awful!

I Definitely would of gave it to kuniev
His stand up looks bad. I’m not sure at his age he will be able to develop any new skills in that area. It was a close fight. Blaydes struggled to get him down also which is his bread and butter.

Blaydes would have gotten the fat dagi ped cheat down multiple times, unless the blatant fence grabbing that literally kept the fatso in the fight.

Yeah I saw that a couple times from memory of that hat fight. It was a blaydes fight and like any blaydes fight they aren’t real entertaining. I think either guy could have won that fight from a judging standpoint. Neither stuck out much.

Agree they both looked bad. But the fence grabber is not UFC level.

They should cut 2/3 of the heavyweights.

TD's haven't been Blaydes bread and butter for years now. This is the most he's wrestled since beating Rozen and Reem, his wrestling has declined since then and he can't control guys from the top like he used to anymore. If Francis and Tom were to get the TD on Kuniev that Blaydes did in the first, he would not have gotten up and the fight would have ended there and Blades is supposed to be the better wrestler of the 3.

Yeah that’s true. He certainly isn’t a title contender anymore but who really is at heavyweight?

It was a terrible decision. Not wanting to accuse any one of being blind though because I'm not like that. Fucking retarded judges.
