Terrible decision.... Blaydes lost that fight

Those wins are all about the same level I would say. Very good, solid wins. Jones in 2 fights already has a better HW resume though, pretty embarrassing.
lmao no he doesn't. His best win is Gane who lost to Volkov and would lose to Blaydes.

Unfortunetly Bladyes did win the fight.

Pride rules, hell no, the Russian dude would have won. But Blaydes wall and stalled his way to a 10-9 in rounds 1 and 3

Problem is it's too subjective especially for 5 rounders. If I was the judge I'd just give Kuniev the 3rd round to create poetic justice.

It creates clearer directives for fighters.

It’s already subjective anyways, but now everyone understands what we are doing out here.

So should we be more liberal with 10-8s and 10-10s? The status quo of almost every round being a 10-9 unless someone is nearly finished leaves you with a guy winning a dominant round 10-9 and potentially losing two toss up rounds that should have been 10-10 to lose a fight he clearly won.

Both guys looked mediocre, but Blaydes got beat up. I exected more from Blaydes.

I don't know, Blaydes looked pretty bad in the fight, but I would score also 2-1 for him.

I expected that judges would give win to Kuniev based on how damaged they looked. Scoring was obviously 1-1 heading to the third round, but for me Curtis had done enough to claim that last round.
Even though, he was probably a lot closer to get KO'd in the last few minutes.

Also, as some mentioned earlier, Kuniev should have point deductions for how many times he grabbed the fence.

Reminds be a bit of Rampage vs Machida back in the day where Machida won the only round that was really significant but Rampage squeeked out the other two rounds to get the win. Still think Kuniev did enough in the 3rd though.
