Law Tennessee doctor denies treatment to unmarried pregnant woman

Because if he knew the state could pull his license he would hide his views.

I'm still not sure what the endgame is here with this thought process. It's like if suddenly Tennessee has "married Christian women only" Doctor's offices and you're like "well hey, they're not under threat of losing licensing because of religious discrimination but at least it's out in the open!!"

Yeah it shouldn't be out in the open. It shouldnt be happening at all. Religious zealots shouldnt br establishing medical practices that placate their religious zealotry. Not sure why that's difficult.

Things that never happened for $500, Alex.

Anonymous, not naming the doctor or clinic. Almost certainly made up as propaganda to use against whatever bill they're against.

People are dumb enough to believe anything.
Yup, it might be fake tale but might not be.
For example maybe someone from her family is working in this clinic.... then there are real reasons not to disclose clinic...
Might also happen that she had good service in this clinic earlier and doesn't disclose name of doctor because will look for another doctor in the same clinic?
Then ofc obiviously if will disclose name of doctor will not be comfortable to use this clinic anymore and maybe clinic by her assumption is good clinic, just one from doctors is strange. Then ofc might be reason why not disclose name of doctor....cos clinic isn't bad ....she maybe wants to use the same clinic again or like this.

She didnt speak anonymously, she stood up at a town hall in front of legislators and there is video of it. But hey dont let your superiority complex + laziness stop you from deeming everything you refuse to look deeper into as just people being dumb.
Do you know what anonymously means? No?

Do you know that your own article is clear that it's an anonymous person? No again?

Do you know that anyone can stand up at a town hall?

Take several seats.

Weird that someone who thinks a person who stands up in front of State legislators on camera with their face clearly visible is doing so anonymously is asking me if I know the definition of that word. Even more comical given your username.

Humans having emotions isn't the issue. Allowing your emotions to effect your job is.

I don't like every flyer I deal with but I don't let that impact the quality of my maintenance.

Which is great you do that. However do you let them know you dont like them and if you did do you think they might have concerns.

Because people should be able to.belive what they want even if you don't like it or agree with it.

He has a right to express this views also.

Yeah this is the EXACT mentality that allowed for "whites only" restaurants and sh*t.

You can be a bigot, or a religious zealot all you want. You can even stand on the corner with a bigotry sign, or be a bigot in Church if your Church is about that life. But the moment you must acquire State licensing to practice your business, that sh*t needs to end.

I'd think the drug seekers would be the one group to turn away. Or at least point them towards help for that.

Unironically I'd rather he be the "help" for the drug seekers. Medically supervised legal drug use helps to kill black market street drug use.

No one said he doesn’t. Denying care is not expression. He’s in a special place of trust in society and should not be allowed to deny care based on a whacky fringe opinion

If there’s no medical reason on for him to deny treatment then he shouldn’t be denying care based on anyone’s lifestyle or beliefs. I agree if he didn’t want to prescribe trans patients hormone blockers or perform abortions, but this is not the same thing
