Like hell he didn't.
Yes and no, he rarely gets hit flush but its an offensive sport so one has to expect to get hit regardless of ageWell Floyd seldomly gets hit with anything clean.
However, it's not Floyd's style to allow himself to hit with anything whatsoever. This is a man who spoke frequently about longevity in the sport and maintaining his health and wits about him after retirement.
But again, I see this as largely a product of Floyd's age as well. I don't think anyone would deny a flawless performance if it were a younger floyd.
Quit smoking weed and drinking Conrad's piss whiskey when you rematch fights
Floyd out of anyone, isnt the type to not train for a fight, regardless of who he is. Especially in the final fight of his career and the Marciano record breaker.
He values his career and legacy far too much to put anything less than 100%. Even in interviews he spoke about how grueling the training was and how he cant do it anymore after this.
And the dude was absolutely shredded..
Hate destroys logic unfortunately
I call it as I see it. No more no less.
The only people who think otherwise are too deep into their bias and emotional reactions to see a rational opinion.
Teddy basically said the same shit I've been saying for years. Must be drinking Conor's semen as well.
I've always seen clearly.
There's nothing that will make me believe Floyd wouldn't put 100% into a boxing match, regardless of who hes fighting. The guy doesn't drink or smoke and he's always in shape. He's always in the gym, but do I think he took on a real fight camp? Hell no

well, it was competitive throughout 8 rounds. Which seems to contradict that statement.
Obvious and yet very few people picked up on that being a reason for his forward pressure.
I was saying this from day 1.I use my own eyes and brain, I don't need to rely on a punch drunk commentator who is wrong as he is right about fights, to make up my mind on what I saw
I was saying this from day 1.
When it comes to people you love or hate, you always tend to see what you want to see. All objectivity and logic goes out the window.. lol
So Floyd allowed for 8 competitive rounds. Prior to deciding he had enough and was going to take him out.His boxing and footwork was rudimentary. Floyd, ever the showman milked the fight to its appropriate ending

Precisely at the same time that Conor truly started to gas.
Makes sense.
If only there could be a more logical, non extremist conclusion that could be drawn.
Nothing wrong with quoting knowledgeable people who know and understand more about boxing than anyone to support a supposition.I'm not quoting or using anyone else to support my supposition, you are.
yes he did
some experts/pro fighters get paid/promoted aka Mike Tyson who said ronda had great boxing
Floyd scammed you all for an easy 100m
Yes.
Floyd fought like Floyd always fights. Safe, defensive, counter punching. Conor is much bigger and longer, and likely much better than Floyd realized. After Conor started to gas Floyd took over, but that doesn’t negate some of the clean shots Conor landed in the first few rounds. Very few fighters have landed as clean on Floyd as Conor did, even if it seemed to have little effect. Watching him slip and rip Mayweather in rd. 1 was surreal.

There was a thread after the fight with like 40+ pro boxers, legends, current champs and top 5 fighters, all giving him some well deserved respect.
But that's just useless information I suppose because it didnt line up with the biased and emotional laden way that you seen what happened.
I remember seeing you post in it. Essentially suggesting their views were all nonsense.. lol
Ultimately we should always think for ourselves. If there's anyone we should ping off, it's the greats and the most knowledgeable in the field, who are capable of giving their opinion impartially and objectively.

In terms of scoring, the first 8 rounds were competitive.Competitive? No. Floyd was never in any danger. Him making sure the crowd got their moneys worth and Conrad fading due to his shit cardio, aren't mutually exclusive
