Sup?

You are still confused. World record holder in powerlifting may or may not be a big deal, most of the time it is not. SPF slingshot world record not a big deal, IPF open total record significant. All time records are the important ones.
its in the deadlift he was competing against the lilliebridges. He did like 745 as a 220. Trey of course did 1034 I think in the deadlift.

So what are your current numbers in BP DL SQ ? If you aren't active than share recent or all time best
You used than when you needed a then. It's not hard to find my log here, or my IPF and Open powerlifting profiles.

I had a coach that played double a that used to tell us your psychology has to be I’m better than you and I’m going to beat you. I don’t really know how true that is but it’s probably a good mindset to have

he has log. He is a good lifter in powerlifting and Olympic lifting just not a world record holder. He believes a fight against me would be laughable if he allowed me to punch him in the temple that he would just be able to laugh it off. He believes that baseball is a waste of time and I believe that powerlifting for people our age is equally a waste of time but yet here we are 40+ still doing it because we have nothing better to do with our lives. He sells programming to teenagers even though all they have to do is have an internet connection and I believe the Sheiko app is like 30 bucks a month from their parents and they can even get form checks in the group if they wanted to get that squat technique pristine. For Olympic lifting and there is several places to get programming for it.

You don’t know what you are talking about.
Eric, this is what I am talking about. This is rude, even for a disgruntled mailman. I said that it would be a waste of time to play recreational baseball at 40, if you are not making money from it. When you have a blackbelt in flopping at a heavy bag at a YMCA you could basically be the next Rex Kwon Do, I don't see why you're not putting that to use.

So yeah, I think I'd take you down without much effort and turn your face into hamburger meat before I put you to sleep, lol.

I won't even go into the rest. Can't wait until the 21st

I guess your reading comprehension is failing you as well. I never said I would beat you up. I said if you allowed me to punch you.

The rest of the stuff I said about you is 100% fact and you know it.

I really don’t care if it’s rude or not it is true…….im sure me making the powerlifting meet that is like a full year away just at about is something you are just on the edge of your seat for! I’m not doing it for you as you have never actually helped myself in anything nor could you even if I asked you to as far as anything training/sporting related.

Thank you for your time!

It's 148 pages. You're not that person in your profile pic ?

Are you something like a national ranked powerlifter ?

The person in the profile pic is ASU. That was taken when he won a strongman meet.
looks like a bigger version of the male nurse on the ultimate fighter who got attacked by Josh Koscheck. And a bit like Derick Levis on a bulk.

XD XD ASU put Eric in his signature. This is funny. I´m liking the competitivness. Shall it push us to new heights. Hit the gym guys. Or you will fail.

If what you were saying was the case then we would have people hitting triple bodyweight deadlifts and squatting 2-2.5x their bodyweight on the daily in gyms. Instead those numbers are the barrier to being a serious lifter for everything but HW plus lifter.

You will see double bodyweight deadlifts and 1.5x Bodyweight squats in most non Globo gyms daily though. You are between those 2 levels.

I think you might be slightly disappointed about the numbers you hit in that comp at the end of the year. No shame in that at all, but you aren't going to progress as rapidly as you think AND perform to that level in a competition with the technique changes.

Powerlifting is a niche sport is why nobody hits those numbers. 99% of people never get passed intermediate programming. Rippetoe is wrong about quite a lot but that he isn’t.

I don't think we need to turn this into a Rippetoe thread, but the guy hasn't used his methods to successfully train an entire roster of elite powerlifters. He has a few collaborations linked to his name.

Plenty of people Squat, Bench and Deadlift without competing within a Powerlifting format. It exploded within the disabled community, Crossfit community and now the hybrid community across the last 10-20 years. Those numbers are still not reflective of what you are saying.

I agree he is not a powerlifting coach.
