i think i saw a slow-mo replay on the NHK feed where Ishiura was already wincing in pain right before the tachiai. looked like his neck.I don't think it was the fall. To me when he's walking out he's moving one arm and not the other, and if you watch the match again, at the tachiai he gives up immediately after the top of his head hits Kotonowaka. I'm not saying i'm right but i think he got jolted down the back-left side of his neck.

Lol I'm glad I'm not the only one who calls Ichiyamamoto discount AbiTochi dumps discount Abi into the dirt, nice to see.
Akua gets Chiyonokuni to the edge without using his usual brand of sumo and then it suddenly occurs to Akua "i haven't thrown him", and needless to say Akua's brain couldn't decide what to do and it all fell apart, sad times.
A damn shame Wakamotoharu's throw didn't land him the win.
I was so sure Hoshoryu had blown his match straight away but he kept his balance and somehow managed to get behind Tamawashi before driving him out, up to 2-2 after the poor start.
Abi adapts well to Meisei's pressure and doesn't try to slap at all, instead sees the arm and woosh!
Mita you cut it close there, a bit too passive for my liking, but a win is a win.
Man Teru just walked through Ichinojo like he wasn't even there.
And now a moment of silence for Shodai...
Is it disrespectful that i burst out laughing at how Ura handled Shodai?
