@Fork Natto's old channel was deleted and is here now instead https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCErxT8KRQi3JJEwMCDrcHBg
If Ura doesn't get hurt can we truly say he's preformed his brand of Sumo? Was really torn on Mita vs Ura, i like them both. Mita looked awesome and Ura didn't get injured so all is well.
Wakatakakage just ragdolled Onosho like a small child, Abi is back on track, and Shodai remains Shodai.
Daieisho with excellent hand placement and pressure stopped Teru from getting going, excellent showing.
Day 2 is over and it's already spicy.
EDIT - The Shinpan got hit a lot today

and plenty happening down in Juryo this tournament too. Ryuden is back in the paid ranks after his suspension, and got a good first win. Atamifuji who @Nova44 and i have talked about before is also newly promoted and started the tournament off with a win, and Enho got a good win on day 1 too.
yeah, his tachiai looks quite soft. i don't think that's why he lost on day 2 but for sure it's something he could improve. with his body type he'll never have blazing speed or anything, but it would be good to put his size advantage to good use with a big hit at the tachiai.I don't know about you Fork, but i think Atamifuji needs to work on his tachiai speed. He's never gonna pressure the big guys with such a lacklustre tachiai like the one he's currently displaying.
woah, Wakatakakage blew away Onosho. i really wasn't expecting that, Onosho looked great on day 1 and if Wakatakakage was going to win i wouldn't have thought it would be like that. tremendous stuff from him.
and i know he's good but it was surprising to see Abi blow Tamawashi out of the water like that too. great speed and perfect hand placement at the tachiai to beat another really dangerous pusher/thruster.
and Shodai.... Ross Mihara said it best... "ew..." and Takakeisho didn't fare much better, and once Ichinojo got ahold of him it was pretty much over.
conversely, Mitakeumi looked incredibly solid against Ura.
and the kinboshi for Daieisho... another shocker. he did a really good job of keeping Terunofuji's meathooks away from his belt.
big day 2.
Teru beat Daieisho in January, but it looks like he lost to him in his first Yokozuna tournament.Didn't Daieisho beat Teru in January also?
Oh it's me vs Hakuyozan. You smash into Enho too early then you lose and still throw him.
Watch your kneecaps Hakuyozan
I hope ishiura is OK, they way he fell today did not look good.
