Superbeast/Foolkiller did more to bring the quality of that forum down than a hundred gimmicks or bi-curious dorks ever could.
 
i've only come back looking for OT. Real old MMa fans don;t click on "is GSP shaking in his boots?" - - - this site was MADE by the free flow of thoughts and ideas in the OT. Goodbye sherdog, fuck yourself.

I can't believe people get emotional over losing a forum, like it meant that much to you in the real world. It's the goddamn internet. I never posted in the OT, and had nothing to do with its removal, but I'm glad it's gone.

Why? if it had no effect on you why would it matter if it were here or not? Sounds like somebody is mad because they never got an invite to play at the other playground.

So should the admins get rid of mayberry too? Its just a bunch of people having serious conversations and lighthearted fun. Plus I dont like it that much, so Ill just say its on the decline. Who cares if its on the decline? Clearly some people like it, just because it doesn't live up to your high standards doesn't mean it should be deleted.

We know that youll ban people who do all of that stuff. The question is where CAN people do all of the stupid things that they used to do in the OT.

Its not that its some personal offense to me. Its just that when I was bored in between classes or come home for 20 minutes in the middle of the day between work and school it gave me entertainment.

Does it have some huge effect on my life? No. But it did have some effect on my day just in the fact that I could rest for 20 minutes and have a steady stream of mindless bullshit to read.

Im not going to cry over it but the "immature" humor was one of the reasons that Sherdog was the site that I came to when I had some free time to waste.

I didn't see it having a place at an MMA forum, and it seemed that it became the focus for a lot of people. The way I see it, if you want to bs with your friends, go bs with your friends. There's plenty of places to do it. Not sure what you mean by the invites, but I'm probably not interested anyway.

I think a lot of the career trolls and people that orchestrated forum raids started out in the OT. As in exclusively posting in the OT. Then people get banned for stuff in the OT, and troll up the place, which I in turn have to deal with. I see it as one less source of headaches in the long run, personally. It's annoying to deal with fallout from stuff you are not involved in and have no interest in.

I can see where you're coming from but Mayberry has no place in an MMA forum either. My point is that if you have no part in it why be glad its gone when others enjoyed going there. If we bs in the HW's everyones pissed....
