Suggestion: Bring Back The OT

I suggest bring back the OT. You can only read about fights and fighters for so long before you start yearning for tits, fail pics, tranny stories and hacked photo bucket pics.

I for one will stop lurking around Sherdog if the OT isnt brought back becuase there wont be anything to lurk or fwap too.

That serious monies lost from advertisers. Serious business.

Please bring back the Off topic forums so my work day functions in normal function.
 
I think for a legitimate website like sherdog who does alot of quality mma coverage, which also is advertised to the general public, does not need to have a forum with the potential of being bombed all the time with nonsensical 'offtopic' threads.
Some OT members have started their own forums for this purpose and is probably the more appropriate forum to use.Joerogan.net has a pretty rediculous forum, so give that one a try, lol.

Hey dont I know you???? Oh yeah we met in the OT. It's a decent place to post when the crap bags aren't bombing it but to say we shouldn''t have one (after you posted there) is just a bit much. I think it should be brought back too.
 
Tl/fwi. Seriously tho the OT isn't the problem. Everyone knows what it's about, the problem is whitebelts ability to start threads. Disable their ability of starting threads and post pictures till they do a certain amount of time :mad:
 
I will probably end up leaving too-and I'm the type of guy who buys DVDs, shirts, stuff like that from the store. A few ruined it for the many, I guess.
 
Not to mention the amount of money Sherdog will lose to people abandoning platinum accounts, and thousands that visit this website solely for the OT being completely disappointed at seeing it removed and leave to never come back. A very unwise move on the hands of whoever out of rage did it.

Yeah I posted there and had a laugh, but didn't think about ^^^ until it was shutdown. MMA going mainstream and such, sherdog is at the frontlines of mma internet sources so I would imagine they are thinking twice about the forum now, especially with all of the forum raid threats.

tits/picture threads go in P&M. The fact that you think Pictures and Multimedia threads should be in OT clearly illustrates that the OT was clearly misunderstood. It'd been on the decline for quite sometime.

this uscks there is no O.T now the HW will get filled with more junk than it already has. this forum was good about 3 years ago. now it's starting to go down hill
 
wish it never died, i guess ill have some free time on my hands. OT was addicting.

How much of a decline is it when many posters OTers or not want the forum back? Everyone knows what problems OT had *cough* whitebelts *cough* but it was a overall good forum with some really great entertainment quality threads (OT picture thread, gamer thread, etc.) OT was meant for Open-end entertainment, now sherdog doesn't have that. Do Admins really think closing the OT will stop scat, porn, or postwhoring? No, it just makes people do it in other subforums like mayberry.

P.S. The OT had tons of picture threads without them removed to P&M so I don't think that really was misunderstood
 
do the things listed above in Mayberry and you can be sure I'll be banning people.

If the picture threads weren't moved, that is our fault as mods.

bring back the ot and disable white belts from posting pictures, foz the only reason you say the ot was in decline is because people gave you shit there all the time,you cant deny the fact that the ot had more platinum users and more quality , laugh inducing threads then this whole site put together

Yes I think everyone knows this but the reason this types of things never happen in other forums beside the heavies and OT, is because of the Ot. The OT made it easy to control a lot of sherdog's forum problems. Now the OT is gone, where to you think these problems end up at? I like pretty much every mod/admin and never had a problem with how sherdog is operated but this isn't proving and doing anything for sherdog.

Also people for years now have told many mods/admin what the problem is, whitebelts ability to make threads and post pictures. How many trolls, gimmicks, etc. would be controlled by this? Likely it would be a lot and for the most part I think everyone would agree

its doing something,its making people leave by the masses,and not just the bad apples some good posters too
