Strength training for the puny

The fighting in hockey is piss poor and stupid. I can watch MMA when I want fight.

Yeah i loved the tough guys growing up, "oh i'm such a good fighter in hockey", yeah too bad your fighting is throwing arm punches and trying to stand up on ice.

I usually only watch playoff hockey but being near Toronto the games are kinda weak, been to games in Buffalo and in Montreal and the atmosphere is soo much better.

In all honesty, until this past winter, I disliked all team sports.

I hated having to depend on other people, another reason I got into MMA.

But then the Rugby bug got me, and it's become my favourite sport.

Rubgy is a manly sport. Too bad no one in my area plays it. Although lacrosse is starting to sprout up.

Alan i am aboot the same way with team sports, i just got so annoyed with them in highschool out of getting screwed out of playing cause of teacher strikes. Aside from MMA and K-1 i'll usually watch hockey or football.

Does anyone actually watch baseball here?

Not on a high school team, no.

I've been boxing since I was 12, and doing muay thai since I was 15. Judo and BJJ were thrown into the mix by the time I was 18.

Other than casually with friends, I've never played a team sport in my life.

Well, until I joined a rugby team this spring.
