Strength training for the puny

When you start trying to learn the l'sit to handstand I suggest you start off somewhere where you can easily roll out (no nearby furniture and preferably a little padded) as there's a pretty steep learning curve.

Good to see you back in the gym, Smashius. Enjoy the mirrors. :)

I don't like having a mirror in front of me when I deadlift, i turn purple, my eyes bug out and I shake slightly.

Goods news: I just bought some ammonia, now I can really freak people out at my new gym by sniffing stuff and going psycho before deads.

Bad news: I bought some straps (in my defense they're for helping my front squat grip).

Combine Rammstein, a huge dose of caffeine, ammonia and a heavy barbell and you're well on the way to a good time.

im thinking about picking up some ammonia for teh maxes in a few months.

Easiest place to get it in my experience is a chemists, they sell it in a bottle as 'smelling salts', you'll normally find it under cold and flu remedies (this stuff'll clear your sinuses pretty quick).

You boys and your stimulants...
My very own ammonia:
- Let the heavy bag swing in your face x 10
- Slap yourself one left, one right, one to the forehead (while fiercefully flexing the neck)

Once I was really "on" when lifting I really had to resist to slamm my forehead against the wall.
A good lifting session meant to be in full testosteronetrance for about an hour and then return back to earth. Thats why I cant wait to be able to lift again. I am an addict to this feeling.

Haemorrhage? Haemorrhage?!?! Come ON... some spelling differences between English dialects are to be expected, but those damned "ae" combinations are just too much. Time for the UK to shake off that lingering French influence, man. :)
