My stake on Turquoise Hill took a HUGE bath this morning on some guidance on their build out of some copper shafts being delayed 18 months (position now down about 50% on avg).
It was so far down already that for others this could be a good opportunity for a speculator. It's a restructure vs. recovery game and I was wrong on where that settlement price was, but copper I see sustaining and also produces gold. Sigh, the mines game giveth (NGD 50%) and taketh away (TRQ -50%).

Roku up huge. I think this might be my short opportunity.

If your position is the CBD stuff is way hyped up and out there but some aspects are being scientifically verified and others have positive indications you must be a junk science supporter. You and Harvard and the Arthritic society and all the others saying cautious but positive things.

Investors are always generally emotional and irrational actors. Almost any investor forum you can go to, unless heavily moderated is taken over by emotional actors, who base their opinions on how their positions are doing. If I am short on a stock or industry I must hate it and everything about it. If I lost money on it same.


This thread is no different. The emotional actors have taken over as their no moderation on that, and thus no one else really will participate. Again I have taken only two of the most moderate positions on two issues and got the most extreme reactions for them which just shows, as you have said, only one side of a an issue will be tolerated and any other must go post elsewhere.

My TV is working again, you are forgiven. I don't trade on emotions. As somebody critiqued me recently, I blow with the wind. I am like water. One day I will be for Tesla and another day I will be against it. I have started a thread against Musk only to end up defending him by the end of it. It depends on how people are framing the conversation.
